Networks Proof-of-Concept Testing
enables you to leverage Juniper
expertise in Juniper Networks products,design concepts, and testing to help
verify and validate key elements of a
preliminary or conceptual solution.

Service Features and Deliverables
Juniper Networks will make available the following service
features and deliverables as part of delivery for this service
offering. The key deliverables of the Proof-of-Concept Testing
service are:
Detailed lab setup description document
Proof-of-Concept Testing results report
Proof-of-Concept Testing Goals and Test Plan ReviewJuniper will meet with you in a joint session to review your test
plan in order to improve joint understanding of your business and
technical requirements and specific testing objectives. Pass/fail
criteria will also be documented as needed. Based on this joint
review, Juniper will provide recommendations for changes to the
test plan, if required, and obtain your final sign off of a definitive
test plan before scheduling the test. Juniper will jointly conduct
meetings with you to review your detailed requirements, including
specific business requirements and technical requirements.
Lab Setup Assistance
The Juniper consultant will assist you in setting up the lab
environment for Proof-of-Concept Testing, including development
of a suitable lab setup, and testing the lab setup for operation.
Lab Design: The Juniper consultant will develop a detailed
lab setup description document, describing the lab topology,
required lab infrastructure, and supporting equipment based on
the testing requirements and objectives provided by you.
Lab Setup: This service may vary depending on whether the
lab environment is provided by you or Juniper. The Juniper
consultant will implement the lab based on the detailed lab
design description document, including activities such as:
-Configuring and testing network connectivity for lab testing
- Configuring the lab network elements per the test plan
requirements
Upon completion of the lab setup, the Juniper consultant will
verify that the required testing capabilities are available and
functional in advance of the test execution.
Test Execution
The Juniper consultant will execute the test plan provided and
approved by you, and will collect the test result during the testing
period.
Test Report
After the test plan execution is completed, the Juniper consultant
will analyze test results and prepare a test report for you that
summarizes the findings and recommendations based on your
test results.

testing the lab setup for operation. They will also
execute your test plan, and collect testing results
during the testing period.
By using Juniper expertise, methodologies, and
experience, you can ensure that your lab environment
accurately simulates the conceptual solution
you wish to test, and that the actual testing truly
measures the eectiveness of the desired solution.
Proof-of-Concept Testing report Juniper experts will provide you with a detailed test
report to evaluate the design concept.
This detailed test report provides you with the
information necessary to evaluate the design
concept. You can review the test results with Juniper
experts responsible for it. This early stage evaluation
allows you to identify both the advantages and
potential technical issues and limitations.
Project management input for
Junipers service deliverables
Juniper will assign a Professional Services consultant
that serves as a single point of contact to assistwith the administration and management of Juniper
service deliverables
In addition, the use of Junipers project management
capabilities reduces the risk to your project. TheProfessional Services consultant will make sure that
the Juniper service deliverables are delivered on time
and meet agreed upon expectations.

Project Management Input for Juniper Service Deliverables
Juniper Networks will manage service deliverables with you,
specifically:
Designated Professional Services consultant: Juniper will
assign a Professional Services consultant who will serve as a
single point of contact to assist you with the administration and
management of Proof-of-Concept Testing.
Input to your project plan: Juniper will provide your designated
project management team with input to execute the various
deliverables as defined in the Proof-of-Concept Testing service
offering. This input will allow for the creation or modification of
your project plan. Junipers input will typically include Juniper
Networks service deliverables, task list, dependencies, Juniper
responsibilities, timelines, and milestones.
Project communications: Juniper will provide your project team
with regular status updates on deliverables.
Availability
Proof-of-Concept Testing is delivered during normal business
hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time) and excludes weekends.
Also excluded are locally observed holidays unless otherwise
stated. With the exception of predefined onsite activities such
as workshops or project meetings, this service will be delivered
remotely from an authorized Juniper location. You must
understand and agree that Juniper Networks may, at its sole
discretion, subcontract the performance of part of the service to
provide you with the best possible outcome.
