APEX Fun Run on 15 January from 0730-1430Pep Talk: A small group of volunteers (2-5 Marines) willing to come into the MPR to speak with their 5th grade class of students (approx. 90-100 students). They face ongoing challenges with this grade level this year (and apparently it has been a group of student since second grade, that have moved up each year, together, and have acquired a negative “reputation”). There are issues of disrespect, bullying, dishonesty, and overall, lack of disregard for others (adult and students alike). They deserve the opportunity to turn their reputation around. They would love to schedule a time for some Marines to come out and give them a pep-talk with a strong slant on respect, etc. (Preferably in the month of January or early Feb.).
