Quality of Life Old Issues: None to be reported

Quality of Life New Issues:

HMLA – 369 asked for the 23 Area gym to open at 0500 instead of 0530. Gym Manager,

Jennifer Mulane reported that the command asked for an open time of 0530, but

could look into 0500.

VMM-164 recently did a walk-through of barracks bldg. 2498 and it is very hot. Too

hot.

VMM-164 asked for the 24 area exchange that closes at 1900 to stay open later for

Marines that work night shift.

Bldg. 2494 Barracks are having issues with rodents, i.e. squirrels, snakes,

tarantulas, raccoons, etc. Sergeant Major Campbell pointed out that some of this

was most likely due to trash issues i.e. not cleaning the area.

12. Volunteer Opportunities

provide 2-3 volunteers. (Third Thursday each month)
