Introducing ProjectWise Navigator

• ProjectWise Navigator is a desktop application that enables you to open a design file to review or mark up data in the file

• Access to “Engineering Content” data stored from native products such as InRoads / GEOPAK / MX, etc. in the “Item Browser”

• Perform detailed clash analysis and interference review before moving to construction

• Interact and walk through intelligent DGN and DWG models

• Work seamlessly with ProjectWise

ProjectWise Navigator Typical User

• ProjectWise Navigator has many uses throughout the design and construction phases– Peer reviews by Engineers – QA / QC reviews– Constructability reviews by the Resident Engineer– Surveyors– Clients– etc.

• The intuitive interface requires no prior experience to CADD or Design Application software.

ProjectWise Navigator File Naming

• When opening a DGN file in ProjectWise Navigator the DGN file will be copied to a new file name as follows:

– Original file name = name.dgn

– New file name = name.overlay.dgn

• This new “overlay” DGN file is empty in content and references in the original file automatically.
