Use the following guide to navigate yourPurple Briefcase account.
Log on to your MyCollege account. Click"Purple Briefcase" in the Launchpad on
the left hand side of the page.
You will automatically be logged in toyour Purple Briefcase account and
brought to the home screen. Navigatethrough your account by scrolling
through the feed or click "Tile View."
ACCOUNT ACCESS
Click on “My Profile." Add a professionalphoto, your elevator pitch, skills, job
preferences, etc.
CREATE YOUR PROFILE
Need help creating an elevator pitch?Find your Career Coach then schedule
with them via Starfish.
Add location,websites, contactinfo, or resume.
Customizethe tiles to
highlight differentfacets of your
professional self.
Make your profilepublic by clicking
"settings."
Click on “my jobs" to search for jobs orinternships. Use the Advanced Search to
add search details.
SEARCH FORJOBS/INTERNSHIPS
Pro Tip: Search under Jobs,Internships, or click "More Job
Boards" to search outsidePurple Briefcase.
The more details you enter, thefewer positions will show.
Navigate throughyour job activityView on-
campusinterviews
Explore career paths: Click “careerpath” to use the “O*Net Interest Profiler.
Find events: Click "my events" to seewhat career events are happening on/off-campus. Register for events through PB.
Research companies: Click "companies"to see employers/companies registered.
Add documents: Click "my docs" toupload resumes, cover letters, portfolios.
Get advice: Click "my links," “mychannels," and “career chats” to find
different resources to help with your jobor internship search.
Report jobs/internships: Click "i got ajob" or "i got an internship" to let us
know!
