ABOUT DRESS FOR SUCCESS
Dress for Success is an
international non-profit whose
mission is to promote the
economic independence of
disadvantaged women by
providing professional attire,
a network of support, and
career development program
to help them thrive in work
and life.
Founded in 1997, today Dress for Success
has served more than 775,000 women in
more than 135 cities in 17 countries across
the globe.
THE WOMEN WE SERVE
70% are single mothers
Diverse ethnicities and races
Aged 18-60, with the majority aged 18-38
SIGNATURE PROGRAMS
Dress for Success addresses every phase of a woman’s career:
• from being unemployed and searching
• to recently employed and adjusting
• to gainfully employed and succeeding.
We are able to achieve such a wide-scale, positive impact by providing
a continuum of services through six signature programs.

The suiting program is usually a
woman’s introduction to
Dress for Success, but once she
walks through the boutique doors,
she is a Dress for Success
woman for life.
PERSONAL SHOPPERS IN ACTION
CAREER CENTER
We offer mock interviews, résumé preparation, cover
letter modification, and job search support. The career
center serves as a technology center for women who may
not have home computers.
GOING PLACES NETWORK BY WALMART
An 9-week “interview readiness” program for
women who are actively interviewing, but having
difficulty securing a job.

Graduated July 2013 – More than 82% of these ladies are now employed!
