1-2) SRP binds leader peptide (pausing translation), which will take it to the proper location

3) Once in place SRP falls off and the ribosome continues to translate protein

4) A peptidase cleaves the leader peptide and then BIP (an HSP70 like protein) binds to facilitate proper folding.
