Electronic Payment Suite (EPS) was conceived out of Lava’s vast experience
integrating E-Payment gateways and systems for clients.
The need for comprehensive reports, transaction tracking, and administrator
modules led to the development of EPS, a suite where a central engine tracks all
transactions and types through the payment gateway. The client just needs to
deploy EPS once and connect subsequently to each payment gateway (either all
at once or in a staggered deployment) installed to enjoy the tracking, interface
and reporting capabilities.

Lava Systems has been in cooperation with the State of Johor since 2010. The
cooperation was towards developing an application system for Pejabat Tanah
danGalian Johor (PTG) online collection for more transparent and accountable e-
payment solution. The e-payment solution was intended to be a one stop center
e-payment portal to collect the payment of cukaitanah (land tax) for the state
government of Johor. The project uses Lava System’s E-Payment Suite (EPS)
which is a complete solution package for an e-payment portal. This includes the
website development, API development and integration and maintenance.

A comprehensive, efficient and robust system consisting of state of the art
infrastructure and advance application technology, developed to provide a highly

platform which is known as Halal Reference Centre (HRC), which itself comprises of
two (2) major components, i.e. the Knowledge Centre and Library Management
System.
We adopted SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) as the general application
framework to ensure that the development architecture for all applications is

modular and multi-tiered in design. The complex solution architecture consists of an
Enterprise Content Management System, Enterprise Document Management
System, Workflow Engine, Library Management System, Business Intelligence and
Payment Gateway.
The system is highly available and fully redundant and also integrated to existing
OLAP systems and databases.

This HDC Portal was voted the best agency website by Ministry of International Trade
and Industry (MITI) based on look and feel, navigation and content structure for
2010.
3) Customer Relationship System – Halal Industry Development Corporation
HDC requires the introduction of a suite of applications for Customer Relationship
Management to manage communication and interaction between itself, its
customers, clients and stakeholders. As HDC is positioning itself as a hub of
information on the Halal Industry as evidenced by the plans for a Global Halal
Support Centre, the emphasis on the customer service aspect of CRM as a means of
engagement with end clients grows in significance.
HDC already has plans to acquire IVR systems and Call Centre Interaction systems as
part of its future plans. The challenge to Lava then is the creation of a suite of
products and applications that caters specifically to HDC’s current need and, as the
