Who are we?
Let us kindly introduce you to the Pulchra Mare group’s latest exciting challenge. At the end of February 2017, the PULCHRA MARE GROUP acquired the shipyard concession for SEVILLA, which includes the dry dock, the quay, the buildings and corresponding facilities.
PULCHRA MARE is a Slovenian based company with international backing and its regional operational office based in ALGECIRAS Spain. The scope of its maritime services include agency, crewing, ship management, repairs & assistance afloat and General Ship Supplies. Given the growing market and geographical potential due to the proximity of the Straits of GIBRALTAR, the group searched for a candidate platform to initially develop ship repairs and then in the long term the potential for new building. The shipyard of SEVILLA was deemed to be that suitable candidate, undergoing a major upgrade to the site since our acquisition. The reasons for this choice were the availability of a dry dock of this size (for vessels up to 140x23 m), the local infrastructure of the port of SEVILLA and the fact that the area is to become a free trading zone in the very near future.
In our view, there is a very bright future for the shipyard; one we want to share for the long term to build a lasting and confident relationship with our Customers, close neighbouring companies and public authorities together with our suppliers and subcontractors.

What do we do?
At Astilleros del Guadalquivir we are entirely at your disposal to provide you with Shipyard solutions 24 hours a day and for 365 days a year.
Our main focus is ship repairs and new building but we have also added our General Supplies Division to complete the provision of services to our Customers. Services for painting, Sand Blasting, Steel & Pipe works, Electricity/Electronics, Special Mechanics for Engine or Turbo Charger Overhauls, HVAC, Accommodation and Insulation, test.... are our daily offerings.
The afloat assistance is provided mostly in SEVILLA and the vicinity Ports like ALGECIRAS, GIBRALTAR, CADIZ and ALMERIA but we also can organize to attend services in the rest of Ports in Spain, Portugal or North Morocco (Tanger, Casablanca, Agadir) and in route or abroad when is requested.
Special assistance and other services that we can offer are:
• Docking vessels on higher blocks to access retractable devices.• Ship recycling complying fully with environmental requirements in force in the European Union.• Ship supplies and spares.• Logistics.• Customs clearance at any Port/Airport in Spain and Gibraltar.• Dedicated ship recycling & waste management services through our collaboration with the Society DDR-Vessels XXI, S.L., a company with 10 years + experience and expertise in this market sector.

All works carried out in our shipyard are performed in accordance with a fully defined SHE-Q process. Astilleros del Guadalquivir is certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
We work in close cooperation with the Classification
Societies. Most of the Classification Societies are
located in the vicinity of the shipyard e.g. ABS, BV, DNV GL, LR etc., and work is performed in accordance with the IACS standard and applied in each case.
