About Location

Location nearest to Cochin port, A natural all weather port on the southwest coast of

company in Sharjah, U.A.E. But the job included preparation of Estimating, Quoting, Planning,

Erecting and Commissioning Steel Structures/ Pipe Lines and Machineries of Emirates Grain Co.,

Emirates Refining Co., Tiffany Group of Co., of IFFCO in Sharjah Port periphery. On own interest,

undertaken Ship Repair jobs in Port area, but had to wind up as company had no marine experienced

technicians. Hesitated to continue with the company.

From 27 March 2004 February 2005 on one year contract, had been working for

Saipem under Global Petro Projects Services, on Star Gulf Project with Bos Shelf for jack up

fabrication at Baku, Azerbaijan. Worked as leadsman for Piling pipes, Floatation tank, Conductor

Guide and frames - fabrication and fittings.

From 15 June 2002 to 10 July 2003 had been working in Dubai Dry Docks, U.A.E as Steel

Work Preparatory and Steel QC.

Job included: - To attend refit meeting, to identify defects as per the defect list, measurement,

estimation and planning of steel works onboard, Liaison and initializing auxiliary works related to

Mechanical, Electrical and pipe shops, preparation of ship's drawings in AutoCAD for fabrication

constructed in Japan and purchased from Escorts Ltd in 1986 by Indian Navy.

Was a Commissioning Shipwright Artificer onboard Floating Dock.

Job included: - Supporting the civil Expert Mooring team for mooring the floating dock in the Bay

of Bengal near Andaman and Nicobar. Preparation of Hull Maintenance Schedule, Equipment List and
