Haslingden Young Stars was set up in 2007 to get the young people involved in the issues faced by both the local community and the young people themselves.

Since the group was set up all the young people were give the opportunity to be involved in the group and the decision making process.

The young people have applied for funding from a range of sources to enable them to attend trips and to provide gaming equipment.
