Music Video Mini Analysis Track:Track: MineArtistArtist: Taylor SwiftGenreGenre: Country / popLengthLength: 3.56TypeType: NarrativeWhat happensWhat happens: The narrative fits the codes and conventions of a pop video as sung by a young female artist. It's a very stereotypical storyline of a girl and boy falling in love, then they have to overcome a situation but with a happy ending. Effective Media Language (Narrative/Genre/Representation/Film Language)-Effective Media Language (Narrative/Genre/Representation/Film Language)-The narrative consists of a girl who falls in love with a boy and they get married. This is shown through location and a montage of flashbacks. The lighting is bright when the characters are happy, and dark when they are not. This reflects their mood, which is also emphasised by numerous different shots such as close-ups. The song is called ‘Mine’. During the video, the girl and boy are often hugging which mirrors the lyric 'You are the best thing, that's ever been mine.'
