Summary of Results

Births

• Catholic births marginally greater than Protestant births

• Increase in births to mothers aged 35 or more

Deaths

• Protestant deaths outnumber Catholic deaths (2:1)

• Even in 2009 - 4% of deaths were to people who lived in a communal establishment in 2001
