The WHF 2010 will focus on understanding the global Halal regulatory framework, issues relating to trade and market access need to be discussed as well as the need to ask real questions about the viability of tapping into this massive global industry.

The Halal industry remains one of the fastest growing industries, surviving strongly against the global economic downturn with growth rates exceeding traditional industry sectors. Supply of Halal products and services are dominated by non-Muslim countries, and huge gaps remain between the trade of Halal products and the market size.

This means that there is a large untapped potential for countries and companies to be major Halal Players, through understanding Halal trade and market access issues.
