Barrier free entrance is accessed off the upper parking lot on Tuckerman Street. Elevator access to the second floor studios is available. Museum parking is available in lots on Salisbury, Lancaster and Tuckerman Streets.
The Worcester Art Museum reserves the right to cancel classes as necessary. Every effort will be made to notify pre-registered students who provide us with contact information.

Teen ThursdaysPortfolio BuildersPrices include a pizza dinner.
Join this intensive, seven-week class to develop skills, create portfolio-appro-priate artwork, and critique with other like-minded students. Teen Thursday classes run from 5–8 pm and include a break for pizza, socializing and group critiques. These intensive classes have more studio time than the average class and more opportunities to get expert advice from instructors and your fellow students. This is a great opportunity for college-bound artists, students looking to build their portfolios, or new artists just looking to have some creative fun!

Every class includes at least one gallery visit to view part of our permanent collection or a special exhibition such as Jill Slosburg-Ackerman—In Rome or Georges Rouault, both now on view. Some courses even include a special trip to the print room to see works on paper that are not currently on view.

studio art certificate programThe Worcester Art Museum offers adult students a three year Studio Art Certificate Program that recognizes the development of skills in studio art over a discreet period of time through the Museum’s Continuing Education program. Participants will receive on-going support from faculty and staff to assist in course selection and portfolio development. Students who complete the program will be eligible to present their work in a group exhibition in the Higgins Education Wing during their third year of course work. Museum Membership is required and the registration fee for this program is $50. For more information about specific coursework or to register, please call Christine Dunant at 508.793.4334.
