Reception to Year 6 uniform information is available on our website.
Please remember that hair accessories and head scarves should be navy, grey or black.
Weather
Remember to stay warm. Bring your coats. If you’re in nursery, your wellies and rain suits too.
Snowman Maths
We’ve been practicing our counting skills in nursery. We started by building our own
snowmen out of playdough: adding button eyes, stick arms and more to make super
little snowmen. Each snowman may have had lots of arms, legs and eyes, but everyone
tried really hard to count all the different parts.
Welcome to the first Woodlands Weekly for 2018. From everyone at Team Woodlands,
Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful break.
Berkeley Court
Just before the break, year 1 and reception visited Berkeley Court care home. Getting
into the Christmas spirit, our children sang songs and enjoyed stories with the residents.
It was a great way to end the half-term’s Co-op Value of social responsibility.
Thank you to everyone at Berkeley Court, our children had a great time. Check out lots
of pictures on our website.
Reception Place
Is your child moving up to reception in September?
Please apply for their place on Leeds.gov.uk before
the deadline. Pop in for a chat if you need any help.
What’s coming
We’ve got great topics and events coming up. Year 6 are learning all about World War 2
and reading Macbeth. Year 3 are in the Stone Age. Next Friday they are building shelters
and fires. Year 4 have a trip to Eureka! exploring electricity, lights and sounds. All this
and more, it’s going to be a great term.
