Presentation by Linda Rendleman, Co-Founder, Women Like Us Foundation, at the Inaugural Office Depot Foundation Women’s Symposium on October 7, 2014 The Women Like Us Foundation is a not-for-profit worldwide organization whose mission is to bring together those of like mind and spirit who want to make the world a better place by lifting up the work of women around the world. She is also the creator of the Women Like Us book series. Her book “Women Like Us: Real Stories and Strategies for Living Your Best Life,” 2008, is the namesake for the foundation. Rendleman’s most recent book, “Women Like Us Illuminating the World: Real Stories, Real Strategies,” focuses on the work of women creating change and coaches the reader to find her own path for giving back. An award-winning speaker and an author who focuses on sharing motivating and uplifting strategies to support women to be the best that they can be, Rendleman is also the founder of Business Women Connect, an award-winning networking company for women, and has hosted her own television and radio shows. With a degree in public speaking from Indiana University and a degree in counseling from Butler University, she has devoted her life’s work to giving back to others and sharing her own personal story of empowerment. Through her foundation women can invest in other women through cultural immersion, teen mentoring programs, and support of women-led causes.
