Our Speakers
Christine PerkinChristine works alongside her husband Paul, at St MarksBattersea in London. She has loved being part of growing achurch in a local community over the past twenty years.They have three children who aren’t really children any more –keeping tabs on them still seems to take up an inordinate amountof time and energy! Coming out of the teenage years, Paul andChristine wrote a course on Parenting Teenagers much to theirchildren’s amusement. Christine is involved in a number ofdifferent areas of church life – preaching regularly, leadingFamily Life courses, training young leaders and co-ordinatingchurch weekends. For many years she has led retreats andconferences for minister’s wives, and has also enjoyed being partof the leadership team for New Wine.
Julia ChamberlinJulia is Children’s Work Adviser for Ely Diocese and leadswomen’s ministry at All Saints Milton, where her husband Davidis Rector. She has four children and one granddaughter. Julia ispassionate about encouraging the church to show and shareGod’s love in our communities and seeks to inspire and supportparishes across the Diocese of Ely in their ministry and missionwith children and their families.
