AFLW Coaching Pathway ScholarshipThe AFL Coaches Association and Lucky Chicken Eggs are excited to announce an amazing coaching opportunity for two

AFLW Players (one each year in 2019 and 2020) through the establishment of the AFL Coaches Association and Lucky Chicken

Eggs AFLW Coaching Pathway Scholarship.

The lucky scholarship recipients will receive:

1. A funded position to participate in the AFL Coaches Next Coach Program

2. Funded attendance on the annual AFL Coaches US Study Tour

3. Mentorship from a current AFL Coach (with a least 10 years’ experience)

This scholarship was hatched out the need to support ambitions of the AFLW players to help them realise their potential and

fast-track their development to coach at the highest level.

HOW TO APPLYAFLW Players are asked to be creative, innovative and thorough with their submission which demonstrates

and addresses the below selection criteria:

{ An ambition to coach at the highest level. and

{ A thirst for knowledge and learning

Applications should also include:

{ Letter of support from AFLW Club

{ Current Coaching CV

This may be through a written proposal, an infographic, or a 2-3 minute video.

The AFL Coaches Association’s Advisory Board and Lucky Chicken Eggs will determine the winner.

The winner will be asked to be actively involved in media opportunities and share their experience

and journey on the scholarship through media and their social channels.
