December 9th WINTER CONCERT December 2 nd 3:00 pm The Shreveport Metropolitan Concert Band at LSUS will present it's annual Winter Concert on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 3:00 pm. Due to renovations at LSUS this concert will held be at Kings Highway Christian Church. The concert will feature a variety of music for the concert band, and will feature a special arrange- ment of "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" by Mozart, "Hallelujah Chorus" by Handel, a medley of songs "Recorded by Sinatra", "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" with trumpet soloist Tommy Sparks from the bands Trumpet sec- tion, "Irving Berlin's Christmas Music", an ar- rangement of "The Bells of Christmas", and "Christmas Music for Winds", and other seasonal favorites. Conducting the band will be the band's Music Director / Conductor, Allen Swilley.
