TURKEY TROT WOBBLE GOBBLE TIME! 2017 TURKEY TROT EVENT DATES KINDERGARTEN November 8th (Wednesday) GRADES 1 – 6 November 9th (Thursday) Laguna Road School PTA is focused on providing programs and services that positively impact the lives of our children and families. PTA funding supports Library Supplies, All the Arts classes, Enrichment Funds (which consist of at least $12.50 per child given directly to each classroom), and so much more! Therefore, we need a big fundraiser every year – it’s the Laguna Road Annual Turkey Trot Wobble Gobble! HOW DOES TURKEY TROT WORK? 1. Students ask family, friends, neighbors, and businesses to sponsor them to participate in our Turkey Trot Wobble Gobble. The sponsorships are for the students’ best efforts. It’s important to remember that no donation is too small as every cent counts! 2. Attached is a Sponsor Envelope. Please have each sponsor write his/her name, phone #, and donation amount on each line. Please keep all donations in the envelope. If you fill- up the donation lines, you can get additional envelopes in the office. 3. Make sure you put your name and room # on the envelope. 4. You must RETURN your donation MONEY to school BEFORE your Turkey Trot event date (see above for event dates by grade). 5. You will receive prizes based on the amount of money you collect and you will be entered into weekly and prize raffle drawings based on the amount collected.
