Introduction.

The aim of this booklet is to introduce the reader to the topic from the Qur’an. It can be studied on its on its own and it also complements the video lecture of the same topic which accompanies it.

The booklet contains ayaat (Qura’nic verses) pertaining to the topic as discussed in the video lecture in a question and answer format.Questions are raised, and their answers are given by the ayaat.

The ordering and numbering of the ayaat corresponds with those on the lecture which can be downloaded from the video lectures section of IIPC website: www.iipc.tv

The Qura’nic references provided herein are not exhaustive but offer the core essence of the subject. The references that have been excluded in this publication can be researched using any good concordance and it will be discovered that the selection introduced in this publication will harmonize the entire sequence.

It is hoped that Muslim readers willmemorize these ayaat along with their Arabic text and engage in Da’wah (propagation of Islam) to their friends and colleagues, and also be able to recite the same in their Salah (prayer).

In this manner, the booklet becomesa useful tool for everyday Muslimpractice - Insha’Allah.

44. Say, for Allah is the shafaat / intercession all together.The kingdom of the skies and the earth is for Him.Then you will return towards Him.

Allah there is no god except HimThe Living, the ever Established, no slumber / drowsiness can seize Him, nor sleep. Whatever is in the skies and in the earth is for Him. Who is there that can shafaat / intercede in His presence except with His permission. He knows what is in front of them and behind them. And nor shall they encompass of His knowledge except with what He wills. His throne extends over the skies and the earth and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving both of them, And He is the High, the Supreme.

And We did not send from any messenger except to be obeyedwith the permission of Allah. And surely when they had oppressed their souls / selves / psyches,and why they did not come to you then they should have seek forgiveness of Allah and the messenger would have seek forgiveness for them.Definitely they would have foundAllah Returning, Merciful.

And when it was being said for them,come to any messenger of Allah he will seek forgiveness for you.They twisted / turned their headsand you saw them opposing and they were arrogant.

18.They serve besides Allah that neither harm them nor profit them and they say, these are our shafeen / intercessors in the nearness of Allah. Say, do you inform / prophesize to Allah with what He knows not, and what is in the skies and in the earth. Glory to Him and He is high above to what they associate (with Allah).

O’ you who believespend from what We provided for you from before the day will come when there will be no trading in it,and no friendship and no shafaat / intercession (be accepted).And the rejecters are oppressors.

He said O’ Nooh surely he (i.e.your son)is not from your family.Surely his deed were other than the corrected one. So do not question / ask Me you do not have any knowledge with it. Surely I sermon you that you will become from ignorant one.

He (Nooh) said, my Lord surely I seek refuge with You that I question / ask You with that I do not have any knowledge with it. And if You do not forgive me and do not have mercy on me I will be from the lost ones.

Allah strikes an example for those who reject,the wife of Noah and the wife of Loot / Lot.From Our servants they bothwere under Our two servantswho correct themselves.Then they (both wives) betrayed them, so they could not enriched in anything from Allah.And it would be said, both of you enter the fire with those who enter.

O’ my father do not serve satan.Surely the satan is disobedientfor the most Gracious.

He will say, glory to You Never could I say what I had no right. If I have said such a thing, so definitely You would have known it. You know what is in my soul / self / psyche, and I do not know what is in Your soul / self / psyche. Surely You are knower of all that is absent.

54. They were not prevented thattheir expenditures to be acceptedfrom them except that they rejected Allah and His messenger and they do not come to salah / prayer except they are lazy and they do not spend (sadqa / charity) except unwillingly / dislikingly.

80. You seek forgiveness for them or you do not seek forgiveness for them. If you seek forgivenessfor them seventy timesAllah will never forgive them.That is because they rejectedAllah and His messenger.And Allah will not guide people who are fasiqeen / liberals.

That day, the kingdom of truth will be for the merciful and that day will become very difficult over the rejecters.

75. And you will see the angelsthose who are at the border from the surrounding of the throne.They are glorifying with the praises of their Lord and will be completed between them with the truth and will be said, the praise is for Allah the Lord of the worlds.

So those who migrated and drive out from their circles and hurt in My wayand they fought and they were being killed definitely I will cover their ills / weaknesses and I will definitely enter them in garden from where rivers flow beneath it. Reward from the nearness of Allah. And the beautiful reward is near Allah.

Do they not know that Allah is Hewho accepts the repentance fromHis servants and He takesthe sadaqat / the charities(i.e. 1/5th of the ghanim / profit andany amount according to the meansfrom their wealth), and thatAllah is He, who is returning, merciful.

And say do ( the works),so soon Allah and His messengerand the believers will see your work / deed. And soon you will turn back towards Knower of theabsent and the Witness, so He prophesize / inform you with what you were doing.

O’ you who believe, when you consult the messenger then advance sadqa / the charitythat is between two handsof your consultation.(i.e. any amount according to your means).That is better and purer for you.So if you do not find then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Do you feel pity of that you advance sadaqat / the charitiesthat is between two hands. (i.e. any amount according to the means) of your consultation.So when you did not do it and Allah will return over you then establish salah / prayer and give zakah / justification and obey Allah and His messenger and Allah is acquainted with what you do.
