Initially based in the South West, we now operate a nationwide service out of nine depots across the UK – Bristol (head office), Brownhills, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Gloucester, Heathrow, Manchester and Newport. With all vehicle types available from every depot (subject to availability) and each depot with its own team of mechanics offering 24 hour breakdown cover, we’re certain we can fulfil your requirements.

Service and RepairsWith service centres throughout England, Wales and Scotland, Gulliver’s provides the back-up and support you need in your local area, 24 hours a day. Gulliver’s offer a full check and chase facility providing 24/7 cover 365 days a year. Communication is key and from the initial call, progress of the vehicle is monitored and a full reporting system provided.

Compliance Gulliver’s offer all forms of ‘e’ communication, which can apply for the use of the administration services, KPI reporting and accounting processes. A company-wide scanning system allows electronic storage and distribution of all vehicle service sheets, MOT certificates etc. to customer locations. An online compliance is available with a confidential log in facility and to assist with Operators License compliance.

Gulliver’s historyGulliver’s is a family-run business and as a result the founder and Chairman Mr Gabe Harding, who established the business over 50 years ago, still takes a very active role in the day-to-day running. He is supported by his sons, Philippe Harding the Managing Director and Nic Harding a Director and Manager of our Heathrow facility.

The company has gone from strength to strength over the last 50 years, initially established hiring cars with rental prices starting at just 17 shillings and 6 pence for an evening hire and £1 and 15 shillings for the day. Gulliver’s have come a long way since then, developing to specialise in the hire of both general and municipal vehicles with a nationwide fleet of more than 4,000 and a product range of over 40 various vehicle types and sizes.
