Las Vegas, Nevada: Corner Liftslide

The Liftslide is designed to accommodate large openings, creating expansive glass walls with unusually large panels. The European designed hardware system easily handles the larger panels enabling them to glide as if they were floating on air.

The Weiland Corner Liftslide can accomodate any angle, ranging from 90 to 135 degrees, with no corner post, creating incredibly large openings. Our corner doors have been used to accent a variety of architectural styles and homes.

The curved (or radius) lift slides are sliding doors whose glass panels are curved and slide along a curved track. The panels have been built as tall as 12 feet. One spectacular ‘S’ curve system filled a 60 foot wide opening. Weiland curved lift slide door panels can also slide into wall pockets.

Customers can choose a lift slide door system built with all wood, all aluminum or aluminum with wood cladding. The sash profiles are designed to withstand the rigor of larger dimensions. The patented clip together jamb gives Weiland the flexibility to build most any configuration. Options include systems designed to meet at corners with no posts, wall pocketing door systems, corner systems of op-tional degrees and curved, or radius, openings.

Liftslide

Our aluminum products are corrosion resistant and available in Kynar 70, a high resin finish providing superior durability and color retention. Finishes are available in an unlimited spectrum of colors to match your special requirements.

Aluminum FinishThe Weiland standard flush track is a bottom rail projecting only 3/16” above the finished floor, creating a beautiful, almost seamless transition between the interior of the home and the outside. A specially designed in-the-floor transverse drain system is standard on every unit.

For the look of wood on the inside of the home, the aluminum wood liftslide joins wood to the aluminum profiles with a patented fas-tening system. This mechanical joint connects the two elements structurally while separating them physically and thermally. The resulting composite is extremely strong and durable.

Customers can choose from a wide array of glass options, including laminated or insulated units, tints, coatings, impact resistant, gas filled, and others. Most panels can be built to fit the largest glass sizes available. Glass thickness can range between ½” to 1 ¼”.

The all wood bifold door system is built from laminated hardwood profiles for added strength and stability. It opens up an entire wall, creating a seamless transition to the outside. A man door is available. The wood bifold can be used in many unique situations for both exterior and interior applications, such as room dividers. They can be either in-fold or outfold.

Our aluminum and aluminum wood bifolds provide a high level of functionality coupled with a sophisticated look and feel. Bifolds can be used in many unique situations such as room dividers or kitchen windows. They can be either in-fold or out-fold, providing design flexibility.

The Beefy Bifold door was designed to give the homeowner the choice of using a bifold for openings up to 12’ in height. Each Beefy Bifold panel is top hung and center pivots, folding half in and half out of the opening, allowing almost 5 foot wide panels that take up less space when opened.

Bifolds are an excellent choice to enhance any view. Folding doors maximize the opening when wall pockets are not an option.

In-swing or out-swing French doors in either all aluminum, all wood, or aluminum clad wood are available. Heights up to 12 feet tall with standard or low profile thresholds are possible. As with all Weiland products the aluminum components are color matched to your sample, painted, and heat-treated with a Kynar finish. Any available wood species can be used to achieve the desired look.

We manufacture custom windows for virtually any opening. Fixed, casement, awning, hopper, sliding and tilt-turn windows are produced in a variety of sizes and combinations. Most windows can be built in either a combination of aluminum and wood materials or only wood. Sash options are available to match door styles. Availability of glass is the only limit to the glazing options.
