MATERIALS FOR WORKSHOP

YEAR K – 2 | 1 hour session

• 1 x A3 firm card (if available), piece of cardboard works too • 3 x A4 white paper • Scissors • Sticky tape • Glue • Collect found object as: leaves; sticks; colourful magazines • Your choice of colours: Paints / Coloured pens / pencils / crayons

YEAR 3 – 6 | 2 hour session

• A2 or A3 paper (at least 2 – you may not use both) • 3 x A4 white paper • Modelling clay (ART KIT) or make your own Playdough or Salt dough • Toothpicks • Your choice of colours: Paints / Coloured pens / pencils / crayons • Viruses are made of repetitive elements, collect found objects house that repeat, like pegs; buttons,

elastic bands; cutlery; hair clips; paper clips, staples, sticks – match sticks, ice-cream sticks, sequens

YEAR 6 – 9 | 2 hour session

• Printing out black and white photos of themselves on your home printers • It will be nice to make big drawings see if you have big paper (A1, A2 or A3. You can stick smaller

pieces of paper together to make bigger) • Standard drawing supplies (what you have around the house). Can include: ink, pencils; watercolour

paint; pastels; graphite; erasers, charcoal. • Craft Glue • Scissors

• Coloured paper - a few different colours • White drawing paper - a few sheets • Template of Bird/Cage • Lead Pencil • 2 plastic straw or wooden skewers • Something to trace a circle around. A coffee mug is a good size. • Scissors • String (normal kitchen string or bakers twine is good) • Print out template (will be sent and need to be printed) • Oil pastels/textas/coloured pencils - something you like to draw with on coloured paper. I will be

using oil pastels • 2 x Straws or 2 x Kebab Sticks
