federal, state, town, village and school officials and has distinguished herself as a consensus-maker and leader. She has always shown a strong commitment to public works and capital improvement projects, public safety and emergency management, environmental protection and restoration projects, transparent and open government and fiscally-conservative budgeting. Representing more than 230,000 residents, the priorities of Supervisor Bosworth’s administration include improving customer service throughout the Town; enhancing recreational programming for young families; strengthening the Town's already robust senior citizen programming, and taking the "Yes We Can" Community Center to the next level with improved and expanded programming. Supervisor Bosworth is also working to strengthen the environmental protection of our sole source aquifer and restoring our shorelines to their original healthful condition and splendor. Supervisor Bosworth has successfully lobbied federal representatives in Washington, DC, for much-needed Sandy Recovery funds to address several critical rebuilding projects in the Town including restoration of the Town Dock, rebuilding bulk heads and seawalls and aquatic sand removal in Hempstead Harbor and several ponds in the area.

From the start, Supervisor Bosworth has made a concerted effort to enhance public access to North Hempstead government and enhance public participation in Town Board meetings. Specifically, she spearheaded two significant procedural changes by live-streaming these meetings and moving the public comment portion to the beginning so residents don’t have to wait until the end to speak about important matters.
