This is CKNY and I'm Anita Pierce with weather. We couldn't ask for a better day for the first day of Spring. Right now it's fifteen degrees and clear. We're expecting blue skies throughout the day. Though there is only a ten percent chance of showers, this good weather can't last forever. It's raining cats and dogs up north, so we should see rain by morning. Don't forget your umbrella tomorrow. Cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over the provinces of Cagayan and Batanes.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains is expected over the regions of Ilocos,

Cordillera and the rest of Cagayan Valley. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated

rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country mostly

over the eastern section of Mindanao. 

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and its

coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming

from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
