teacher and set directions and goals for the coming year. These 20 minute interviews (per child), will take place on either Tuesday 31 January or Wednesday 1 February 2017, (between 9am - 4.20pm) depending on which day you choose when making your on-line booking. Regular classes for all students will commence on Thursday 2 February. Parents will be emailed the necessary information to make these bookings on Monday 19 December. Information will also be on the school website under ‘Information’. 3. OFFICE HOURS DURING THE HOLIDAY BREAK - The office will be open for enrolments and Matific (Maths Programme) payments ($12 per child) from 9am to 4.30pm on Tuesday 31 January and Wednesday 1 February 2017.

4. STATIONERY LISTS FOR 2017 - 2017 requirements will be sent home along with your child’s school report on Friday 16 December. We do ask that you look at purchasing the required stationery on-line from www.myschool.co.nz Search for Waimauku School, select your child’s year level and follow the instructions on the website. Orders over $57.50 made on-line will be delivered free of charge to your home address. Alternatively, Office Max have a retail store at 93 Wairau Road, Glenfield. Please check the delivery windows on the website to ensure you receive all required items in time for the start of the school year. Stationery sales at school will not be available until 01 March 2017. Stationery lists are also available on the school website under Information. Please note the stationery list you receive with the reports is based on the school’s cost to buy in the stationery throughout the year and is slightly higher than the ‘my school’ on-line pricing. In 2017, all students will be participating in an on-line Maths programme, Matific. The subscription for this is $12 per child per year and needs to be paid at school via cash/chq/eftpos/kindo please. We also ask that a ream of photocopy paper is brought into school; this is used for various activities in each of the classrooms. 5. SCHOOL LEAVERS - NOTICE RE EZLUNCH / KINDO SCHOOL SHOP If your family is leaving our school and moving to another school that does not use ezlunch or Kindo for school payments, you need to close your account. If you’re not sure about the new school, log in, go to My Details and click on the list of schools, scrolling to find your new school. If your new school is NOT on the list, you will need to close your account. Send an email to [email protected] requesting to close your account. This request will need to: Be emailed from your account email address, state the current balance on the account, provide the bank account number for refunding the balance (or ask for it to be forwarded to the school). Refunds and account closures will be actioned during January/February. On behalf of the Board of Trustees and myself I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe holiday break. Kind regards Gary Pasfield Principal PRIZEGIVING RESULTS FOLLOW
