11. Cervaro della Sala, Antinori, Italy 2012 £87.00 It is a blend of Chardonnay and Grechetto grapes, fermented and aged for five months in bar-riques. It then matures in the bottles for about 10 months in the Medieval cellars of the Castle.

21. Clos Beauregard, Pomerol, Bordeaux, France 2012 £75.00 The wines of Clos Beauregard are rich and complex with notes of coffee, caramel, smoke, violets and black currants. The wines have firm, silky tannins and are well balanced with good ageing potential although they can be drunk young.

Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru, Derrière la Grange, Louis Rémy Burgundy, France 2007 £105.00 The wine-making is resolutely traditional; no herbicides or insecticides are used in the vine-yards, a third new wood is employed for élévage, during a long cask ageing there is just one racking and bottling takes place by hand two summers after the vintage, without fining or filtration. Classic, finely-tuned Burgundy that demonstrate an arresting purity and finesse.
