A-Series: High Precision Weighing with Advanced FeaturesAdvanced Technology. In addition to forced-compensation weighing technology, VWR® A-Series balances incorporatestate-of-the-art features for advanced weighingapplications and documentation.

Internal Automatic Calibration and Adjustment. VWR® A-Series offer three internal calibration options. Temperature-activated calibrations initiate with a 3° C change in ambient temperature. Time-activated calibrations may be programmed from one-hour to twelve-hour intervals or simply press the Cal Key to activate the Calibration function.

External Calibrations with the ability to program (and store) the known value of a mass standard may also be utilized.

Menu-driven Operation. Dedicated Setup, Mode, Function and Database Keys along with navigational arrows provide easy access to weighing features, applications and stored data.

Multiple Weigh Modes. Seventeen weigh modes including gram & mg.

Advanced Communication Features. Connect VWR® A-Series balances to a computer, printer or network via the RS232 (2) or USB (2, Type A & B) ports. Data may be transferred manually by pressing the Print/Enter Key or program the balance to send information automatically at designated time intervals and stability settings.

Application Modes. Optimize the performance of your balance with one of eleven application modes: Basic Weighing, Piece Counting, Check Weighing, Dosing, Deviations, Density Determination (Solids & Liquids) Animal Weigh, Statistics, Totalizing (Formulation) and Peak Hold.

Rugged, Built to Last. Constructed with a housing that is designed endure the most challenging environments from teaching labs to industrial use.

Balance Parameter Settings include Access Levels, User Functions, Backlight Settings, Language, Keyboard Sounds along with GLP Protocols.

User-friendly Draft Shield is standard on Semi-Micro and Analytical models. The internal dimensions (160 x 168 x 230mm) and three sliding doors make access to the chamber a breeze. All Draft Shield Doors, Stainless Steel Weigh Pan, Draft Chamber Floor are easy to remove for cleaning.

GLP Documentation is standard on the VWR® A-Series. Store up to 10 Users, 1000 Products and 100 Tare Weight Values in memory (alpha-numeric). Detailed reporting including Balance ID, User, Date, Time, Software Version, Measurement Mode, Results along with a Signature Line provides for complete GLP documentation

Bright Blue Liquid Crystal Display makes the weighing results easy to view under all lighting conditions. The custom LCD provides the user with exacting prompts for easy set-up and calibrations.

Simple Menu Operation. Two large Tare keys provide quick, ergonomic zeroing of the balance for fast, effortless weighing. Simple menu programming provides access to advanced weighing features and applications.

Calibration is a snap. Automatic calibration at the touch of a key (CAL) assures that every reading is accurate. A stainless steel precision weight is included on all 0.1mg and 0.001g models. Each calibration weight is provided in a protective case.

Multiple Weigh Modes. Scroll between nine weigh modes including grams & mg on the analytical & milligram models with gram & kilogram offered on the high capacity (0.01g) models.

RS232 Interface. Connect VWR B-Series balances to a computer or printer. To transfer weighing results simply press the PRINT key.

Animal weighing. weight readings and then locks the average weight on the display.

Percent Weighing. Measure the percentage of a sample proportional to an initial reference weight and calculate the increase or decrease in percentage value.

Density Determination. Below balance weighing port can be used to calculate the density of solid samples using the buoyancy method.

Parts Counting. VWR B-Series balances are ideal for inventory control. Simply place the reference quantity (1, 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces) on the pan and the balance will do the rest.
