Greeting you today are Jo-Anne and John Smithson. John is Clerk of Session and member of the

Nominating Committee.

Nursery care is provided for little ones to age 4 years from 10:20AM until the end of

the worship service. Our nursery is located in the hall, through the doors on either side of the choir loft. Jewel is our care provider as Paige is teaching our Holy Moly group.

Faith in Motion – in Holy Moly! today, our 5-9 year olds learn the story of the Man Through a Roof – the friends’ persistent helping revealed Jesus’ way of healing. Key Bible verse is Luke 5:24.In Connect! our 10-12 year olds complete their study of Joseph’s story.Youth Bible Study – our teens will remain in the worship service or will help with the

younger ones.

Coffee Plus – the Congregational Life Cte. invites everyone to remain for a time of refreshment and fellowship following the worship service.Thank you to all who have remembered our local food bank this morning. World Day of Prayer – will be held here on Friday, March 4 at 2PM. All are welcome to attend. The focus country is Cuba.

A few local groups in the Newcastle/Orono/Bowmanville area have been formed to sponsor and settle Syrian refugee families. Some of our members & others are beginning the process of forming their own group – Newcastle Refugee Settlement Committee. In the meantime, several items will be needed, from furniture to clothing and personal care, so please keep this in mind when you spring clean.
