SPEAKERSKENNETH E. ARNOLD is the head of K Arnold Consulting, Inc., and a senior advisor for Occidental Petroleum and Worley Parsons. In 1980, after 15 years at Shell, Ken co-founded the facilities design firm, Paragon Engineering Services, which AMEC acquired in 2005. Former SPE Specialty Director of Facilities and Construction, and U.S. Gulf Coast Section director, Ken has been an SPE Distinguished Lecturer and DeGolyer Distinguished Service Award recipient. Ken also has taught oil and gas facilities engineering at the University of Houston. He holds BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from Tulane and Cornell Universities, respectively.

DON COONROD is Managing Member of Additive Solutions, LLC, where he lends his expertise across a multitude of technical and commercial fields derived from over 30 years’ experience in operations, engineering, manufacturing, applied research and product development. Don previously worked as a Principal Research Engineer at Cameron, a Senior Systems Engineer at Sedco/Sedco-Forex, and was on the start-up staff for the Ocean Drilling Program at Texas A&M University. Don holds a BSc in Ocean Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from TAMU.

DAVID COURTNEY has worked for Conoco/ConocoPhillips for 37 years in various roles, with most of them in the flow measurement discipline. David is currently a Measurement Advisor for the CoP Lower 48 assets. He has been a voting member for the API COGFM committee and the GPA Technical Section H committee for over ten years. David has been the chair for the API CPMA Sub-Committee for two years and has been a member of the ASGMT committee for over six years.

DAN CUTTING graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining degree. He’s held several roles as an engineering contractor for producers on- and offshore. Pioneer was the first Independent to produce in Alaska while Dan was the Operations Engineer and then Engineering Manager. Now at Pioneer’s corporate headquarters in Dallas, Dan is the technical authority for measurement and manages the Allocations department. He also serves in various industry associations.

ANDREW CZOVEK is a Critical Service Technical Sales & Support Engineer for the Valves and Measurement division at Cameron/Schlumberger. Prior to his eight years at Cameron, Andrew worked ten years on/offshore for a subsidiary of Honeywell (DCS Process Control Systems Division). Andrew has a BS from the University of Houston.

GABRIEL DRAGNEA has over twenty years of experience in the design, testing and calibration of various flow measurement technologies. He has an extensive background in oil and gas flow measurement, both upstream and downstream. Gabriel also holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Romania. His current position is Principal Engineer with Expro Meters, Inc.

HOSSAM ELBADAWY is President and CEO of O&G Technologies, a company that accelerates innovation through entrepreneurship. Previously a Senior Operating Partner in Lime Rock, Hossam also led several small oilfield product and service companies. He started his career as a field engineer, and became VP of Manufacturing at Schlumberger. Hossam holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University,as well as a Masters in Engineering Management and an MBA from Northwestern University.

DAVID FOUCHARD is a Senior Technical Lead at Nalco Champion, where he has been staff scientist and research chemist since 2007. David completed a Masters degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille, a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Toledo and Post Doctoral studies at Montana State University–Bozeman.

MURRAY FRASER began his career in Western Canada’s natural gas industry in the early ‘80s primarily working on H2S analyzers and H20 analyzers. Murray specializes in Analytical Instrumentation and Process Chromatographs and focuses on practical uses for Process Analyzer technology in the North American upstream, midstream and downstream sectors. Murray is currently a Product Manager for Envent Technologies in Houston.

XINGLAI GONG joined LLOG Exploration as a reservoir engineer in 2013. Xinglai’s main responsibility is to perform integrated reservoir study of all major reservoirs operated by LLOG. He is also in charge of the PVT modeling, surveillance, calibration, meter selection and optimization of the 18 existing MPMs and future MPMs. Xinglai graduated from Texas A&M University with a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2013.

SHAW KABIR has more than 40 years of experience in the oil industry. His background includes transient testing, wellbore fluid-and heat-flow modeling and reservoir engineering. He has published over 140 papers and two books, and contributed to an SPE monograph. He has been recognized as an SPE Distinguished Member and a Distinguished Lecturer. Shah is now a consultant and adjunct professor of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Houston.

ROBBIE LANSANGAN received his PhD in Chemical Engineering in 1986 from the University of Tulsa. His career has spanned fundamental research in enhanced oil recovery, product development, entrepreneurship, business development and subsea technology deployment. His most recent role is measurement engineering technical authority in capital projects with a major operator. He has authored numerous papers and made presentations to multinational audiences. He is an active member of API standards development committees and chaired API 17S, which produced the first edition of the Recommended Practice on Subsea Multiphase Meter Design, Testing and Operation.

JASON MALORY brings 24 years of experience in subsea production control system hardware, installation and commissioning. Prior roles include Umbilical Engineer, Installation Engineer and Hookup/Commissioning Engineer for Chevron’s JSM development and Subsea Controls Engineer overseeing hardware delivery and System Integration Testing for BP’s Nakika Phase 3 project. Jason was also Product Manager – Chemical Injection Systems and Global Sales Manager for National Coupling. Jason holds an MBA from Colorado Mesa University and a BS in Ocean Engineering from Florida Tech.

SHAILESH RATHOD is the MARS technology product champion at Schlumberger, where he held several field operations, technical and business development positions since 2002. He was the product champion for the subsea sampling system and was responsible for business development for subsea surveillance products. He holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technical Institute and an MBA from Welingkar Institute of Management.

RANDAHL ROADIFER is Exploitation Manager at Memorial Production Partners, a small operator with assets in Texas, California and Wyoming. He has over 20 years experience in conventional and unconventional fields and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). He has held various Reservoir Engineering positions over 17 years with ConocoPhillips and five years with Amoco/BP. Randahl holds BS and MS degrees from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a PhD from the University of Tulsa, in Petroleum Engineering.

BEN SHANI is Managing Director at Agar Canada and President of Calgary Testing & Automation Services. He will present a paper on Multiyear Field Qualification of a Multiphase Meter in Eagle Ford Shale Operation.

JERRY STEVENS has worked for Endress+Hauser USA since 2003 as Team Lead, Product Management Flow, in Greenwood, Indiana. Throughout his career, Jerry taught and lectured at Texas A&M University, where he developed flow measurement competency courses and is now Lead Instructor for Flow Measurement Technologies. Across various industries Jerry gained a large portfolio of experience and application know-how, and wrote several papers on Coriolis as well as calibration and proving technologies for flow magazines. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Indiana University – Purdue University of Indianapolis.

MARC TALAMANTEZ joined Summit Midstream in 2015 as the Director of Measurement, responsible for all things related to oil and gas measurement. Prior to joining Summit Midstream, he was the VP of Engineering Services for a Houston System Integrator, worked with an engineering firm as a Senior Principal Technical Professional and served as the Global Software Manager for 15 years with a Global Leader in Custody Measurement Systems. Marc brings 20+ years in measurement and engineering experience to the role currently held.

NICK TILIAKOS obtained his BS in Mechanical. Engineering from Cornell and his MS/PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Nick was a Senior R&D Engineer at Orbital-ATK, where he developed advanced propulsion/rocket engine and combustion systems as well as harsh environment sensor systems. Nick was an adjunct Mechanical Engineering professor at Columbia, and has 35+ technical publications and four U.S Patents. Nick is now a Principal at Innoveering, a technology startup providing innovative technologies in Aerospace, Power/Energy and Harsh Environment Sensor business lanes.

Over an 18+ year tenure at Marathon and another 18+ years at Amoco/BP, Bob developed measurement expertise, ultimately becoming the upstream Segment Technical Authority (SETA) for hydrocarbon measurement at BP. He has chaired the API Committee on Petroleum Measurement, established the API Committee on Production Measurement and Allocation, and championed DeepStar and REPSEA subsea metering initiatives. Bob joined Letton Hall Group in 2016.
