One's personality is molded by experiences that they have had in their life. Architecture should be treated the same way - A design should not only be functional, but derived by one's experience of the built space. The designer draws experiences from his past to create a design that is relatable to the culture and urban context. A person is always encountering new and different experiences, which foster changes within the individual as a result, architecture should adapt and evolve with the changes in society.

Design a container for a Brio Toy car. It always protects the toy from damage. It acts as tracks for the toy. The project also acts as a display for the toy.

Design a place to live using a cargo container. The concept word was freedom. Birds may be viewed as the most free animal. Living space is perched on supporting structure that runs throught the building.

The project was to design and build a container for a place setting. The place setting I chose was camping equipment. The concept was wrapping and unwrapping. Items that were wrapped were a water bottle, small stove, can of soup, knife, fork, and spoon.

The project was to design a Yoga Studio while respecting the histortical Pilgrim Baptist Church in Bronzeville, Chicago. The form was based off of different yoga poses. This creates a fluid form that ingages the church. The skin of the building is free flowing. The site was divided between three students.

The program of this project was to design a nondenomination church. I had to design it using local codes and ordinances. The design was based with the worshipspace at the center of the building reinforcing the idea that God and community are the central focuse of the church.

The terricotta tile absorbs sound waves and the glass lets it in.

The materials affect the sound quility in each space.

The site is located in Detroit on Woodward south of Grand Boulevard. New Center is mainly active during work hours. The scope of this project was to create a new intermodal transit hub to replace the Amtrak station and incorperate the proposed tram. This transit station acts as a connectioning different cities via Amtrak and opposite sides of the tracks. It should also try to connect the different districts. It should also be something the local community can use and take pride in. This proposed station incorporates various activities to engage the whole community. The planned spaces comprise of public green areas, a farmers market,a community garden, different stores and shops that will use the produce from the market, and an interactive fountain.
