Skyline has a forty year tradition of providing services to the poor and needy in Central Oklahoma. Skyline nurtures relationships across the state and serves as a role model to congregations and organizations as they seek to serve others in their own communities.
Skyline Urban Ministry
Skyline’s mission is to impact lives to empower those in need, and
to address the roots of poverty in OK
Throughout each of Skyline’s programs, dignity is our key value. Skyline treats each client with a sense of dignity and promotes the client’s self-worth. Each client receives face-to-face, one-on-one interaction with our staff members and with volunteers. Skyline’s volunteer base is its greatest asset. Each year over 250 individuals provide in excess of 18,000 volunteer hours living out the Biblical mandate in Matthew 25 by serving the “least of these.”
Christmas Grace provides Christmas gifts for hundreds of families each December.
The Prom Dress Event provides “one-time-worn” prom dresses for young ladies who otherwise would be unable to take part in this special “rite of passage” event in a young lady’s life.
