UPCOMING EVENTS FOR THE TRAIL RIDERS

August 2020 All activities under social distancing & wear a mask protocols.

SFTR SCHOLARSHIP FOR GRADUATING VARELA SENIORS

TRAIL MANNERS

Good manners is the grease that helps people get along with each other, avoiding friction. • 18 & UNDER MUST WEAR A HELMET. • Be aware of the effect your actions have on

others, their horses and their property. • Do not upset your co-riders’ horses. • Ride at a quiet, controlled pace. • NEVER PASS OTHERS AT A GALLOP. • Keep a safe distance… don’t crowd others. • STAY WITH A DISMOUNTED RIDER • Respect the property of others. (ie: lawns, farm

fields, crops, groves, livestock, etc.) • Leave gates as you found them: Open gates

should remain open. Closed gates should remain closed.

• DO NOT PASS THE TRAIL BOSS or drop behind the drag rider.

• Stay with the trail boss on the same side of the road. Do not split the road.

• Clean up after your horse. Pick up manure or spread it depending on where you are. Do not clean your trailers out when you unload.

• NO PROFANITY AT ANY SFTR EVENTS. REMEMBER! If you mind your manners others won’t mind when you and your horse return to ride.

HORSE CHARITIES

The SFTR donates to these charities once a year. These charities are badly in need of donations. Please try to send what you can to help them. Thanks from the SFTR.

SPEAKER SUGGESTIONS

Last year brought to us several great speakers to the general meetings. This year, we would like to hear from you.

If you have any ideas for general meeting speakers or programs, call Ben Kroner at 305-245-2403 or email me at [email protected]

We look forward to your input.

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE Hello South Florida Trail Riders! I hope that you and your families are doing well. My fami-ly and I have been enjoying the Summer weather and we are all doing well. The Board of Directors presented three young students with Community Service Scholarships at the July Board meeting. The recipients were Rebekah M. Romero, Jason Lauzurique and Nicole Marie Donate. They all helped at parade activities and other club functions. All three have graduated this year and are moving on to college. Both Lisa Morgan and Bonny George, Jr. have done a great job working with these young people. They have introduced them to the horse community of Miami-Dade. Thank you very much for all your hard work, it is really ap-preciated. We have several trail rides planned which are coming up in the next few weeks. I hope that all of you come out and participate. We are also working hard to try to find a way to have a general meeting online in August, where all of you can participate and feel safe. I hope that many of you will be able to attend. A reminder to all members that if you have not renewed yet, that membership registration and payment of dues are due by the end of August!!! Our committee chairpersons are doing an excellent job in keeping the activities going. If you would like to help in any way, please contact them directly and /or contact me. “Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.” – Les Brown See you at Trail’s End!!! Future Events

THE WOLF LAKE NO-SALAD RIDE...RESCHEDULED AGAIN FOR SAT. SEPT. 5 !!

We were rained-out on July 18, so we moved the Wolf Lake Salad Ride to Aug. Then the Davie Mayor asked us to kindly cancel our event in Aug and move it, perhaps, to Sept. Due to the COVID-19 issue, we will STILL have the Wolf Lake Salad Ride with all the fun riding the trails & swimming our horses, laughing & joking with our masks on, & staying socially dis-tant...but sadly minus the salads & dessert. Using com-munal ice chests, spoons, etc is not currently safe, and maybe next year we can have the regular fun & feast. So mark your calendar for Sat. Sept. 5 and we will hopefully finally have our annual SFTR Dade & Broward event – pending local govt. mandates at that time. Wolf Lake is in Davie. From Krome north take US-27 north to Griffin Rd east. Cross I-75, continue east on Griffin. Just after you cross University Dr, take the 2nd right, onto Anapau (canal will then be on your left). The lake is about a mile down on your left. From the east, approach again on Griffin, but you must go to the

light at University Dr., make a U-turn, then the 2nd right onto Anapu, etc. Our traditional Dade-Broward combined event, we ask everyone to pack their own food, water, soda, chair & mask. Trailer in 9am, tack up & ride as you please. We'll break at noon to sit (socially distant) in the shade to chat. We'll break camp about 1pm, & police around your trailer before you roll out. Please wear your club T-shirt, or swim togs, and as always, juniors 18-under must wear a helmet when mounted. When not mounted, all SFTR are asked to wear their mask (or bandana covering their mouth & nose) & stay socially distant. Lead-line horses & juniors are also very welcome, and it gives both a chance to have a really fun day riding over the hills hidden in the forest & sitting on a swimming horse in the cool lake water. Beat the heat and hope to see everyone in August!

~Bonny George, Jr.

INDIAN HAMMOCKS T-SHIRT RIDE

Our Indian Hammocks Park T-Shirt Ride is still “on” for Aug. 1. The park is between Kendall Dr (SW 88 St) & Sunset Dr (72 St); enter the park from SW 117 Ave. & turn east into the park; trailers park at the first (maintenance) parking lot. Arrive 9am, ride 10am. The area has lots of trees for shade, so you can ride, walk & lead-line your junior rider or new horse, or let your jun-ior ride solo (no ponying). It will be masks-on (or a bandana covering the mouth & nose) when not mount-ed, & use social distancing, please. Remember, due to COVID, we are NOT using a communal cooler, so eve-ryone should bring their water, soda, snacks/food, etc.

& ALL SFTR are welcome to join a socially-distant lunch under the trees about 11:30 – everyone, bring your chairs! Show your club pride & wear your SFTR club T-shirt (any color) & a mask so we can beat the heat in the hammock! T-shirts on sale on site, but easier if you call Bonny 305-233-1897, [email protected] or FbPM to reserve your size & color. Not all sizes in all colors, so hur-ry! Contact Michelle for more info at 305-562-0961, or [email protected]

ZOOM IN ON THE FREEDOM WALK THIS SEPTEMBER

Due to the COVID-19 issues, the Freedom Walk in which the SFTR always parades, will be seen on-line this Sept. The Freedom Walk will be presented as a ZOOM VIDEO on-line event with photos, speakers, & videos from previous years. A soundtrack with patriotic songs and marches will punctuate the video commemo-rating the fallen military, citizens & first responders of the 9-11 terrorist attacks on NY.

We appreciate the SFTR Parade Team & all our club members who have annually dressed themselves & their horses in red-white-and blue and have walked, rolled or ridden with such patriotism each Sept. Since we can not gather for this event as usual, ALL SFTR members will be invited by email to view this special video tribute, and the VFW will email a link for those who want to participate from home.

SFTR OBSTACLE CHALLENGE...A TWO-DAY EVENT!

We are still “ON” for our annual SFTR Obstacle Chal-lenge & Parade Practice, but it will be expanded to a 2-day event! Sat. Sept. 19 we will open our farm for ALL SFTR members to ride, walk, or lead-line through the course – as many times as you would like. Sun. Sept 20 will be a Jun-ior's Obstacle Day, and all SFTR juniors 18-under are wel-come to come on lead-line, walk, or ride on their own equine – or on a few brought by SFTR members; & SFTR adults may ride/walk also. Gates open at 9am - 16990 SW 170 Ave. - do not use a gps, it will put you on a dirt road. From Krome Ave (SW 177 Av) go east on 168 St. & turn right on 170 Ave- bad road/speed bumps so go slow. 2nd house on the LEFT – 2 boats beside the house, mule head on mailbox. PASS the house & enter the farm at the gate by the pasture. Parking is tight, so please RSVP so we may plan where to have you park your rig. 4-H or LQ rigs need to let us know and come in early!! Each year Sonny & I host this Obstacle Challenge & Pa-rade Practice, designed for novice or skilled alike. Each ob-stacle is designed to be done first in-hand (to test your eq-uine's tolerance & your cues) & then done from the saddle. Newbie horses must adjust to the stimuli, & the activities provide a wide range of skill demands to improve even the most seasoned rider's techniques. There will be noodles & fallen tree logs, water & ball obstacles, ramps & tires, bridg-

es & flags, emu wrangling, & a new obstacle added for this year! All SFTR Parade Team members (or those wishing to join) are encouraged to attend & desensitize your equine, for in-hand or mounted parading. All SFTR are welcome, even if you just come to watch! Due to the challenges presented by the obstacles, we suggest riders wear a helmet for safety. Everyone must be a member, so either renew on-line now, or bring a check to the ride- membership forms avail-able on site. More info when you sign-in; club T-shirts for sale too! Remember we are all dealing with the COVID virus, & we ask everyone to stay 6-10 ft away from each other, whether mounted or not. Everyone (juniors included) please wear a mask when not mounted – and roll it under your chin when riding. A bandana cov-ering the nose & mouth works too. Juniors 18-under must wear a helmet when mounted, or on-foot in the activity pastures! Juniors are very welcome on Sat., and may re-turn on Sunday for added activities!! Please bring your own food/water/soda/snack/lunch/chair – as we will not be sharing anything, for health rea-sons. Trailer-in, tack up, lead your horse through the course so you learn about the different obstacles, and then ride as you please. We always welcome all juniors to come lead your pony, ride on a lead-line or ride solo – it's great fun!

~Bonny George, Jr.

LIFE IS A BEACH . . . AND EVEN BETTER WITH HORSES! Life is a Beach . . . and Even Better With Horses!

We just received confirmation...our SFTR Beach Ride is Sunday, Sept. 13, and space is limited... reserve your spot NOW, and we wish to explain this great event to everyone. First, before you sign-up for the ride, you and all those you bring with you as spectators or riders, MUST be SFTR members - our insurance covers only members! It is mem-bership renewal now in July/August, so use our web page, mail your membership to our P.O. Box, or hand it immedi-ately to a Board member. AFTER your membership is con-firmed, call/email Andrea Sante (305-216-2461 or [email protected]) to register/pay for the ride. We will have a gate manager and only those individual SFTR members on the pre-paid registration list will be permitted entry to our event. Because there is a limit of 30 trailers, we suggest you hurry – you can NOT register/pay at the gate, so act fast. Friday, Sept. 11 is the LAST DAY to PAY & REGISTER for the Beach Ride (if there are still spaces open)!!!! Augie Saavedra will Trail Boss this wonderful event & will have the gate open at 9am. ALL participants must enter by 10am!!! Please remember, if you come in a separate car, you must pay the Park's standard car entry fee, & ALL occupants of the car must be SFTR members. Augie & others will as-sist you in parking the rigs in an orderly manner, hose water will be available & there is a restroom on site. Please have your mask on as you off-load & tack up, stay 6-10 ft apart, then ride/walk/bicycle up the trail, cross a bridge & the beach will spread out before you...the ocean awaits! There are pic-nic tables under the trees & Augie & his crew will have

worked hard all morning marking off the horse swim area. On the beach, please stay socially distant in our zone, & remember only mounted horses are allowed in the water. We know there will be children, & parents can take them outside the marked area to play in the sand or swim, and everyone on foot is encouraged to locate under the trees at the picnic benches. Because of the number of equines & people enjoying the day, please do not run your horse – keep it at a walk. Juniors 18-under must wear a helmet, & use a mask as do we all. We realize it sounds like a lot of info, but everyone wants to have a wonderful day with their horse. To do that, we all must be aware some horses are apprehensive & some riders are novices – so safety first equals fun for all! Directions to Virginia Key: Rickenbacker Causeway (toll) east, over the first bridge. You will pass the Mia. Marine Stadium, and then just as you pass the Seaquarium (get in the left lane) there is a light at the entrance to the Virginia Key Park & Beach...turn left into the entrance. Do not cross the bridge! Stop at the gate- an SFTR person will check you in & then you will drive straight, past the first parking lots. The road will finally reach some trees...turn left. The road will lead to our parking area- follow the parking assistants directions please. Bring your food/drinks for snacks & lunch, chairs, etc. Enjoy the day! Everyone is responsible for cleaning ALL the poop, shav-ings, trash, etc at their trailer (maybe start 2-2:30?) and we must ALL be out of the parking area by 3pm!! Call Augie Saavedra for more info 305-582-1557.

ARROUND THE PADDOCK… SFTR Members Spreading Out Across the USA

SUNSHINE REPORT

The COVID virus is hitting closer to home, as Carol Ruiz's mom, Adelaida Perez, contracted the COVID-19 virus, and we sincerely hope she recovers in good form – our thoughts are with her and Carol's & David's fami-lies. We are saddened to learn so many pets have crossed the Rainbow Bridge: Cindy Proietti's much loved old pup, Marlie, passed away; Carrie & Wayne Hersh-berger had to say good-bye to their beloved long-time companion, Bailey; June Makis had to say farewell to her 13yr old canine, Bentley; and Ralph Gonzalez lost his horse Brook – but she'll be remembered by the crepe myrtle tree planted in her memory. We heard Dorys Garcia's horse, Sensa, has navicular issues; and Tyra Phillips dog, Sprocket, had to have several teeth pulled. Our animals keep our hearts & hands busy, car-ing & loving them. Happy Anniversary cheers go out to: Stacey & Tyler

Jacques, a joyful 19th Anniversary for Olga & Mitch Horn, and a wonderful 45th Anniversary for Carrie & Wayne Hershberger. Mitch & Olga are also expecting their second grand-baby in Nov.; and Bonny & Sonny George Jr. will be welcoming grandson #2, as Roscoe should make his debut now in mid-July. Great news: Dr. Norberto Hernandez has just retired. He will be able to ride with us even more now! Also, Lisa Morgan is getting around a little better on her bro-ken foot, and daughter Emily is doing great things in her Army Basic Training in Missouri. Let me know if there is a cheerful note to mention or a sad event which our SFTR family may help make eas-ier. Text/call me at 305-562-0961. Enjoy the summer sunshine with your family & stay healthy! Keep calm and ride on.

~Michelle McDaniel

We are sad to hear SFTR members have left our ar-ea, but also happy they are following their dreams. News has it that Eva & Patrick Tracy have moved to a lovely farm in Live Oak, Fla. Having been with us for so many years, we wish them well in their new home. Amanda Andujar let us know that their family has set-tled in Roy, Washington, safe & sound. Guess they traded our hurricane preps for snow preps – good luck & hope you all keep riding! Ashley Leonard has quickly moved to Gainesville to accept a great job as the new Employee Training Coordinator for Cracker Barrel. Awesome!! Kelly Matacena just sold her house in the Redlands & will temporarily live in Key Largo. Her horses will get a vacation break in Ocala, as she looks for another farm to come back to here in the Redlands. Hope all our out-of-town members can come back for a banquet, when we can have one for real! Collegiate News: Varela grad & SFTR/FFA Parade Team member, Christian Dean, announced his official formation of the Hispanic/Latinx Caucus at FIU! Ded-icated to advocate for all Hispanic/Latin communities & their diverse cultures, identities & backgrounds. Now there's some leadership! It is summer & membership renewal time - you can go on-line to join/renew, or use a paper form and mail it in (or give it to any Board member). It is important to renew now, as emails notifying everyone of last minute changes to rides & events (due to changing govt. mandates) – these emails are sent using the member list! Members are also invited to Board meetings (held outside in the shade) to hear firsthand our planning & project ideas, and offer sugges-

tions...just wear your mask & bring your own water & chair. Meetings start at 7pm; not serving meal/snacks – see the calendar for more info. The free Paso Show at Tropical Park (at this point) is canceled, due to the COVID situation. What a great offer to help our local equestrian community, but sadly govt. mandates need to be followed. Unfortunately also canceled is our SFTR Yard & Tack Sale, normally in Oct. Hopefully we may have one in Feb. Another community affair that is sadly canceled is the annual Freedom Walk, in Homestead. Many thanks to all our club members who yearly ride, walk, lead-line or roll with us in the solemn parade. See the newsletter for more info on a special Freedom Walk video by the VFW! Maybe we can take a hint from Celine d'Arbel-las, by trying a new activity – seems she is embarking on a yoga strength fitness program. Sounds great – let's all try to stay healthy & in better shape in 2020. At SFTR events, rides, meetings, etc you are asked to wear a mask (or bandana covering the nose & mouth). At this point we are kindly “asking”. We have mem-bers, young & old, with health issues. And we all have families. It is smarter & safer to wear your mask, than to catch the COVID virus from a carrier. Worse yet, having to live with yourself if YOU were the unmasked carrier & infected friends or family! Please put a mask in your riding gear or trailer/truck. Have it on while you tack up & get our photos, attend meetings, or go outside – it is the law at this point. Being 10ft apart on the trail gives us a little more freedom. We want every-one in the community to see we abide by all the proto-cols, and thereby set a good example for others.

~Bonny George, Jr.

THEY ARE OFF-AND RUNNING...

There is no grass growing beneath the feet of our SFTR Varela student ,volunteers, pictured here with Augie:(left to rt.) Rebekah Romero, Nicole Donate, &

Jason Lauzurique. These fine graduates received their SFTR Scholarship checks and are on their way to Mi-ami-Dade, FIU, and the Univ. of Missouri. As Augie put it so sincerely ...”We appreciate the time out of your life, that each one of you gave, to help the Trail Riders. Your time is valuable, and to give it helping others is to be commended, and we appreciate it.” A huge thank-you also to their parents, without whom these great stu-dents could not have participated with us. And so, we await hearing of their accomplishments as they are off & running on their college paths.

4TH OF JULY RIDE – A REDLAND-100 !

The last few months have been difficult for every-one, due to COVID. To keep the 4th of July spirit alive, the Trail Riders held a ride at the 136 St. trail head, at the canal. We started out with 9 riders and 1 ground support. A special thank you to Augie who navigated the group. Also, thank you to Bonny who took pictures, as well as signed everyone in.

Our intrepid group traveled the back streets south to 190th St., then headed west to ride the canal back north to 136 St. During our ride we had a sprinkle that cooled the riders and the horses down, & finished the 11 mile, 3hr. 20 min. ride as Redland 100! Congratulations to the riders, and thank you all again for sharing this patri-otic day on horseback.

TIKI LUAU IN THE PARK

On June 27, the Trail Riders enjoyed a short ride through Larry and Penny Thompson Park. We had a total of eleven riders, including a new junior member, Mary Lane. Our ground support team was lead by Ben Kroner, who treated us to donuts before the ride; along with Bonny, Mike, Deda, & JB Strong. We appreciate your helping us set up, organize, get going, and taking pictures. To start, it was a trail ride whose Trail Boss for-got her horse’s bridle! I almost had to use a hal-ter with lead lines, but another Trail Rider came to the rescue with an extra bridle. After a few group pictures, we hit the trail with myself, Michelle McDaniel, as Trail Boss for the first part of the ride. The trails were nice and the lake was

so inviting. A few riders took their horses to the lake’s shallow side to stand, paw, and cool off. The weather was perfect with an occasional breeze. The second half of the ride was led by Dennys Cabrera. He led us from the lake through the rest of the park, and through the mango grove as well. Laurie Waggoner & Rigo SanJuan brought several SPCA horses to continue their training for trails - the horses did great & are cur-rently up for adoption! Overall, it was a nice ride with a great group of people as always. Masks or bandanas were easy, and even staying socially distant, we had a fun lu-au in the park!

Our members are wearing their masks and abiding by social distancing to success-fully go on club rides. Keep you & your horse moving and training – groundwork, flag desensitizing, lead-lining juniors, expo-sure to noise, and trail-er loading practice. It's all good!

As of now, the 9-11 Freedom Walk has been canceled – but the VFW will show a video of past events and will notify all SFTR via email. See an article in this newsletter for more info. So thank you all for preparing for this patriotic event, but save your clean tack for the Veteran's Day Parade, in Homestead, in Nov (still “on” at this point. The December Jr. Orange Bowl Parade & the Elves parade are on hold for now. The Homestead Tree Lighting & Santa parade are both “on” at this point. Megan Barnes, who TB's that holi-day event, said some great changes have been made - you can decorate your horse as much as you want! The more the better. I will provide more info from the parade sponsors as I receive it, in newsletters or emails.

This is a great time to get your tack set com-pleted with the yellow trim! Call myself or Bonny if you need yellow trim on your bridle, reins, breast collar or pad. We also have a cou-ple of used tack sets for sale, at a discounted price; & of course, new sets. If you have a po-ny/mini, please find a tack set now, which looks like our regular horse size Parade Team tack, don't wait! We will help you get the yellow trim as needed.

Stay healthy and I hope to see you all soon.

PARADE TEAM NEWS

YOU'RE ON THE TRAIL & YOUR HORSE HAS SIMPLE LEG ISSUES Riding has risks for human & equine alike. We generally

know how to handle our personal situations, but asking your

vet now about leg injury to your horse & their suggested

protocols, can save healing time & prevent major issues for your horse in the future.

Leg wound/cut heel: Stop the bleeding by applying pres-

sure. Pressure is key to halting blood loss, and safer than a

tourniquet. If you have medical supplies in your saddlebag, apply whatever bandaging & wrap you can (see dressing a

wound). Slowly lead your horse to the trail head, and call a

vet as soon as you can. If you are able to first reach your

vet, follow their instructions. If contact is not possible, then

rinse the wound with water or a saline solution, wash with Betadine scrub*, and apply an antibiotic ointment*. To

dress the wound, pack pieces of rolled up 4-by-4-inch sterile

gauze pads against it. Then apply a nonstick cotton-wool

material to absorb drainage and pad the wound. Finally, apply a self-adherent bandage. *NOTE: Many vets ask that

you not apply disinfectants, salves, ointments, etc. to a

wound before they see and assess the damage. Perhaps ask

your vet now, before such an emergency, what they would prefer! Heck with your doctor now on protocols for yourself

now, and any medication/treatment intolerances.

Pulled Tendon or Sprain: On occasion, a horse will jam

his leg into an abnormal position while still moving forward, resulting in an acutely pulled tendon or joint sprain. And we

all know, stumbling, tripping or falling can leave any of us

unable to walk.

What you should do: On the trail, depending on the severi-ty of the injury, walking the horse back to the trailer might

be feasible, and a padded support wrapping could help. Per-

haps take the trailer to the horse, if possible. Having crack-n

-cool chill packs can help and store easily in your trailer

emergency med box. Cover the affected area with a light

cotton wrap and apply the chill packs...continuing the sup-

port wrap to hold them securely. Do not apply directly to

the skin. At home, the most effective emergency treatment is to stand your horse in a cold, running creek for 30

minutes or so, to minimize the inflammation. Since we

usually don't have this available in so. Fla, use cold hose

water; a boot or bucket may help. Call your vet to deter-mine the proper protocols & if medication is warranted. If

you have a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)

on hand, such as phenylbutazone ("bute") paste, administer

according to the label directions per weight of your horse.

This helps to arrest the inflammation until you can get your horse proper vet care. Again, asking your vet about such

injuries now, gives you time to prepare an emergency plan

& meds that your vet would recommend for such an emer-

gency. The same methods can be used on humans, but al-ways check for medication intolerance first, and seek proper

medical advise as soon as possible.

We hope to never need your emergency medical supplies

from your pommel bag or trailer on a ride, or at your home. This article gives only a sample of simple injuries and possi-

ble quick care, and is meant only as a guide – consult your

vet/doctor for exact medical treatment! That said, whether

it is your injury or one sustained by your equine, one should be prepared ahead of time. Prepared with the knowledge

from your vet or doctor, prepared with supplies readily on

hand for horse/human, and prepared to apply the needed

care until your vet/doctor can be reached. Now in hurricane season, we all need to look into gaining the knowledge we

need and stock our med boxes accordingly

TROPICAL PARK HURRICANE STALLS

First! Reserve your stalls with Debi Cat-Priest at 305-775-1820. When a Hurricane Watch goes into effect, the barn manager, Pablo Tejeda, will attempt to reach everyone to confirm that you will take possession of your stall. If unsuccessful, he will reassign your stall for that hurricane to someone else. Do not call Pablo unless a Watch is in effect. Email Pablo at [email protected] and text Debi at 305-775-1820 only if a WATCH is in effect. Your reservation fee per stall is $28.00. This reserves a stall for the 2020 Hurricane Season. Once a Hurricane Watch goes into effect and you take possession of your stall, on the 25th hour you will owe Miami-Dade County an additional daily fee, plus an additional $28.00 to re-reserve your stall for the remainder of the 2020 Season. Upon arrival, Pablo will need to see your Coggins papers. Suggested items are flashlight, buckets with clips for water, (muck buckets work), a fly mask, your name, horse’s name and phone #’s taped to your stall doors, halter, written on your horse, a bale of hay to put in the stall so the horse has something to keep him busy all the hours he is there etc. You can’t leave anything but your horse at Tropical Park. Depending on the storm’s estimated arrival, Miami-Dade County will lock the park gates. Once the Hurricane Watch is lifted, you have 48 hours to remove your horse. All stalls must be STRIPPED before leaving or an additional charge per stall will be applied and you will be unable to reserve stalls in the future. Due to Debi's own hurricane preparations she will not be as responsive if you wait until the last 3 days before a storm to reserve stalls. You may not get a stall if you wait until then. Please reserve now if you want a stall!

Hope to see you on the trail – not at Tropical Park!

Register online at our website SFTRDADE.ORG (25 stalls available) Also visit the website for the current list of people already registered.

She was last year’s Vice President. She also took on many more tasks. She was Co-chair for the Funnel Cakes, was a trail boss, on the parade team, and was always there for the club. I had the pleasure of the banquet gift ex-change and we each received the SFTR jacket, like the one she is wearing. For all she did, I named her Member of the Year, and she received the customary SFTR em-broidered chair. Thank you, Jessica, for all you do.
