The teaser trailer starts with just a clear blue sky. The clear blue sky gives no hint to the film at all. There is also silence which gives no clue to what the film is about. A balloon then appears floating up on the screen. This makes the audience think of birthdays and circus’ as these are connotations of a balloon. The balloon is also pink which can make people think of love. The balloon makes the audience believe the film is about either someone's birthday or a circus. More balloons begin to appear floating in the sky. This makes the viewers carry on guessing what the film is about as there is still silence. You can now hear the sounds of balloons rubbing against each other and then a mass of balloons appear. This amount of balloons are associated with the circus and lead the audience to believe that the film has something to do with the circus. The balloons are also all different bright colours which have connotations of happiness and adventure.

There is a creaking sounds and the strings/rope of the balloons appear in the shot. This shows the audience that the balloons are attached to something to make it float. The creaking makes the audience think about what is attached to the balloons. The creaking sounds tells the audience that it must be something heavy or old but still gives no clues to what the film is about. You then see the top of a house so you now have some idea that the film is about adventure and this floating house.

A man then appears standing on the porch of the house. The man is old and in dull colours which represents his dull life that is nearing the end and how he is now on an adventure. He says ‘afternoon’ as if life is normal and that there is nothing strange about his floating house. This still does not give to much away about what the film is going to be about. The house then floats away and we are left with a quiet blue sky leaving no clues as to what the film is called, when it will be out or what it is about. This is what makes the trailer tease the audience making them what to watch the film when it does come out.
