INTRODUCTION

Union Industries L.L.C was established in 1973 in UAE as Limited Liability

Company. We involved in design, fabrication and installation of Aluminum

curtain walls, doors and windows.

In 1995 Union Industries (Galvanizing Div.) was born as one of the Dubai

U.A.E's largest hot-dip galvanizing plant with the kettle size of 12.7m Lx 1.1

M W x 1.4m H. which can process (Hot Dip Galvanizing) approx. 20,000 -

22,000 MT MS steel per year. The production lines are equipped with

pretreatment tanks, overhead traveling cranes, shot blasting machine,

and forklift for operation.

Union Industries (New Galvanizing Div.) newly Started on (01-11-2018) as

one of the division of UNION INDUSTRIES. Largest Hot-Dip Galvanizing Plant

with the Kettle size of 13M L x 1.6M W x 2.8M H. The production lines are

equipped with pretreatment tanks, overhead traveling cranes, Shot

Blasting machine, and forklift for operation. This organization is located in

the I-CAD III, Must Musaffah, Abu Dhabi U.A.E. And is fully equipped with

latest technologies for Galvanizing of Steel products.

Capacity:

The plant is capable of galvanizing medium and heavy structural steel of

various sizes and thickness. It has an annual capacity of 55,000 - 60,000MT

processed in two shifts. The availability of enough storage area for the

incoming materials and finish goods ensure proper flow of materials to

and from the plant without any hindrance.

At present, the company has around 100 potential clients in the UAE and

GCC countries and this list is increasing day by day.

As proof of its efficient way to working the company got certified under

ISO certification.

Our commitment begins with the customer, receiving the best quality for

the best price. We are also attentive to customer’s specific needs, and we

have the ability to the prompt action to see that those needs are always

met in a timely fashion. We consider all possible manufacturing options,

and pass the savings along to our valued customers, thereby helping our

valued customers maintain their competitive edge in the worldwide

manufacturing market place.



OUR VISION & MISSION

Initially it was the vision set out by our Directors and later encouraged and

sustained by our Managing Director, Mr. Talal Yousuf Mohammed Najibi

that customer commitment and quality should be at the forefront and

today we are known for it. Recognizing a need for customer service in our

immediate sales area, UI developed the concept of its "Quick Turnaround

Service" a guarantee of an expedited galvanizing job at the time

specified by the customer, as an independent company with strong

proficient management and personal commitment from our staff, we are

able to bring the highest standards of quality to each project and execute

its excellences in the field of HOT DIP GALVANIZING.

COMPANY PROFILE

The Company was approved by national authoritative certification center

in December 2003 through ISO: 9001 Quality Management System, ISO

9001:2015 by Global Registrar Systems Accredited (GRS) by International

Services for Certification Bodies (EUROPE) UK LTD. The scope of Certificate

includes Blasting& Hot Dip Galvanizing as per standard ASTM A123M

/ASTM A153/ BSEN ISO 1461/ SA 2 ½ .

We are also an affiliated member of the Galvanizers Association of UK and

the American Galvanizers Association since 2003. As we entered into our

second decade, with the service side firmly in place, our focus turned

toward the quality of our product. Our desire was to consistently surpass

those standards and set up a quality assurance and control program that

insured those ideals were achieved.

Training

The success of company’s operation depends on good management

control, well-experienced and trained personnel, proper and well-

maintained equipment. Union Industries Management does realize this

very well and keeps all the machineries in good condition. There is a

separate maintenance wing to carry out all the maintenance activities.

The management periodically trains their teams and upgrade their

knowledge and skills.

Location



The plant is located in I-CAD III, Industrial Area, very close to Musaffah,

Abu Dhabi. It spreads over an area of 18,000 square meters with a

covered area of approximately 15,000 square meters. The location is very

ideal for transporting materials to and from the plant with its proximity to

the main I-CAD III, Musaffah, Abu Dhabi.

The Plant

The state of the plant is from KING FIELD of Australia who is one of the best

suppliers of Hot Dip Galvanizing Plant across the world. The plant is

equipped with the most modern facilities, safety and environmental

protection devices with excellent product quality.

The plant is based on the latest process and consists mainly of the

Laboratory As part of the plant, a well-equipped laboratory has also been set up to

(a) monitor the quality of the incoming materials; (b) conduct chemical

bath analysis and (c) inspection and test of finished products. The

laboratory is handled and managed by a well-qualified laboratory

inspectors.

Process Flow The plant produces a tough bright, smooth and uniform zinc coating. The

entire process is summarized by the following steps.

A Programmable Logic Control (PLC) keeps the bath temperature at the

optimum level to ensure the best quality of the galvanized materials.

The Personnel

A dedicated sales and marketing team and customer support personnel

ensure the best pricing; prompt delivery and utmost customer satisfaction

Raw Materials

Only high purity zinc of above 99.95% is used for the galvanizing and is

procured from world well-known manufacturers. The same thing is

considered in the case of acids and other chemicals.

INSPECTION and TESTING Being a fully automated plant, the temperature of the molten zinc is

constantly monitored through Computer Controlled Devices. The

inspection team conducts thorough inspection and records the results at

various stages of the process as required. The products are sent to an

independent laboratory on a regular basis for analysis-thereby ensuring

the quality of the finished materials.

Documentations

As an ISO certified company, we are implementing a good

documentation system from receiving to dispatch of the finish goods.

Each department has a data encoder that maintains all the pertinent

records and documents. All the forms are internally registered and filed

accordingly.



Conclusion

We certainly believe that our plant will go a long way in catering the

needs of the construction and other sector of industries in UAE and other

GGC countries. And to give way for further improvement, we will be

adaptive enough to consider all the suggestions and proposals from our
