Unethical practice in Badminton during Olympic :-

Badminton players who deliberately performed poorly in matches have been thrown out of the London Olympics

The Chinese, South Korean and Indonesian players, who were competing in the women’s doubles are thrown out.

The teams may have been trying to lose so they could avoid more difficult opponents in the quarterfinals, when the competition moves to a knockout stage. The teams had already qualified out of the group competition, which was new in this year’s Olympics.

Example :-defeated China in the Group A match 2-0 to set up a meeting with another Chinese pair, Tian Quing and Zhao Yunlei. By losing, Yu and Wang had avoided playing their Chinese compatriots until the final.

Unethical practice by Lance ArmstrongArmstrong - who overcame testicular cancer in 1996

Armstrong had won the tour de france a record seven consecutive times between 1999 and 2005

the USADA handed Armstrong a lifetime ban from cycling and erased all seven of his Tour de France wins -- victories that captured the attention and imagination of Americans and turned him into a household name.

The USPS Team doping conspiracy was professionally designed to groom and pressure athletes to use dan gerous drugs, to evade detection, to ensure its secrecy and ultimately gain an unfair competitive advantage through superior doping practices.‘

paid $1million into the Swiss bank account of an Italian doctor alleged to have helped fake blood tests.

In June 2012, the United States Anti Doping Agency(USADA) accused Armstrong of doping and trafficking of drugs, based on blood samples from 2009 and 2010

Armstrong was initially suspended and eventually banned from participated in sports sanctioned by WADA. He chose not to appeal the decision, and publicly admitted to the doping in an interview with Oprah winfrey in January 2013
