The Intellect ICT Mission’s objective is to bring together UK computer and technology companies with Libyan officials and senior managers that are looking to understand more about how ICT can be applied to their organisations. The companies included in the mission cover a range of technology areas and therefore can bring a wide range of insight and information.

The UK ICT market is one of the largest ICT markets in Europe with the largest consumer expenditure per head and an overall spend of £140 billion per annum of which the UK public sector contributes £18 billion. The UK has the strongest ICT skills in Europe and the highest number of ICT graduates in the whole of Western Europe which can be used to help implement technology in a variety of locations as well as be used to help capacity build skills locally.
