The breakfast area is on the lower level and enjoys views of the gardens via the French doors whilst the kitchen is two steps above and has a range of base and wall mounted units with plumbing for a washing machine and dishwasher and an enamel sink and drainer with mixer tap. There is a four ring Bocsh gas hob with extractor hood above, space for an upright fridge freezer and built in Bosch double oven whilst the matching cupboard space houses the tumble dryer pull out larder units and the Worcester Combination boiler. There are windows and doors to the side.

Built in the 1950’s, one of six impressive dwellings built within the original grounds of Dunsmore House, Two Trees has been vastly renovated and extended by the current owners who have lived in the property for the past 21 years. The small settlement has of late, become known as Little Dunsmore. Little Dunsmore was once the country estate of Sir Philip Albert Muntz, an industrialist, businessman and MP. Two Trees takes its name from the two impressive cedar of Lebanon trees which flanked the property when it was built. Though one was removed during the extension of the property in the 1990’s the remaining tree stands impressively on the boundary line.

Driveway & Front GardensTwo Trees is situated in an extremely secluded position tucked away off Lilbourne Road, just on the outskirts of Clifton village. There is a private driveway that leads to the front of the property which has timber double gates leading to Two Trees. The entire driveway is shielded by a variety of trees. The driveway curves toward the house for approximately 40 metres where there is parking for several vehicles as you arrive at the façade of Two Trees. The frontage also has a large carport which can easily cater for two vehicles and also offers a convenient dry log store. There is a detached garage with pitched roof and timber double doors and a fence screening the LPG gas tank.

Side and Rear GardensThe single garage also has a large brick built store attached to the rear offering convenient storage for garden tools. There are steps down into the rear garden whilst on the right hand side of the building there is a significant lawned area with a good size section of woodland which houses a variety of wildlife and abundance of wild garlic at the time of writing. The wooded area has a pathway that meanders down to the rear boundary and providing many adventures for young children. The rear gardens are laid mainly to lawn, the plot in total measures just under an acre (0.89). The gardens are bordered by a variety of mature trees including cedars, coniferous and oak trees and perfectly ‘blinker’ the potential buyer towards the views over the neighbouring fields. The centre of the garden also has a pathway, leading from the rear patio which has adjoining rose borders and a circular patio, with flower border and sundial. The gardens undulate towards the rear boundary with a further lawn and natural pond with small foot bridge. The far corner of the rear garden is the perfect place to take in the views and the evening sun with a raised deck shaded by two young trees. Towards the end of the woodland is a vegetable garden sheltered by the last few remaining trees whilst there is a pathway that leads to the timber shed.

The garden is an impressive feature of the property and the one which the owners will miss most when they downsize. Surrounded by mature woodland with superb vistas of the fields and pastures, the spectrum of summer greens and yellows slowly turns to hues of autumnal red, orange and brown. The abundance of wildlife and sound of birdsong create a tranquil sanctuary within this south-facing acre, which provides plenty of space for children to play. Over the years the family have enjoyed many a game of croquet and badminton on the lawns, retiring in the evenings on to the terrace for a barbecue.

Two Trees is the perfect combination of convenience and countryside and with its unique features and spacious open-plan lay-out, will provide the perfect home for a family of any age.
