3:- like this.....

2: Fold the two diagonal folds, pattern side facing out -

4: Turn the paper over, and do the twostraight folds, back side facing out.

6: Turn your paper, pattern side out.

5: Now your paper looks like this. These are all the folds you need.

7:And fold into this triangle - either with the one pattern facing out -

16: Let it open, and get ready to add the next unit -

18:And flattening the basket is also just the same -

17:- just lige you did before: legs into pock-ets.

13:Work the basket flat, and make sure you flatten the sides neatly.

15:Two units now, locked together by the folding you just did.

14: It should be symmetrical - middle against middle - and really flat.

10: Time to start constructing! Slide two ‘legs’ into two ‘pockets’...

12: - and start opening the little ‘basket’ these two units will form.

11: Like this. Tug it tightly together -

25: Repeat your flattening folds.

27: And you’re done! Time for a drink, and then you do another one. Merry Christmas!

26:Open and close all the folds a bit, and the star will get evenly shaped.

22: This last bit can be fiddly - BUT - practise makes perfect.

24: Because suddenly they’re both in place, I promise.

23: Here’s a tip: insert the legs one at a time, and wiggle and push as much as you need. Don’t give up.

19:- see? Now you get the idea!

21: - but you need to lock the last one.

20: Keep working, clockwise, until all six units are in use -
