Two Door Cinema Club Website Analysis

This is the first thing you see when you go to the Two Door Cinema Club website.

The first thing that is clear to us is that the website has a clear primary colour scheme, red, blue and green. The Band’s name is also prominent and clear.

The bands name is clear and visible.

There is a 10 page link header at the top of the website –offering a lot of fans.

A 1/3 of the website is taken up by the bands most recent music video.

When you scroll down the website the band’s name and the link header scrolls down with you.

The entire right side is dedicated to social media.

A news section must be extremely important to the band as it takes up most of second half of the home screen. The band must like to keep there fans informed. – Which is a common indie band theme.

The band having there own app shows fans demand.

News Page

Again the bands logo and header links follow us wherever we go.

There is a clear archive of the old news again stressing the importance of the need to inform there fans.

Here is a section for the fans to comment there opinion.

News PageThe news page has shown us that the need to involve the fans as much possible is something which is a priority for the two door cinema club, which could also show us that they have a huge fan base. When you have a huge fan base they will be so called mega fans which will love the idea of the band posting the news which they are in and the fact they will able to post there opinion to what the band is posting.

Gigs Page

On the Gigs page as expected there is a list of the bands previous gigs and a section for upcoming Gigs.

Photo Page

The fans have the option to share there photo’s on social media. Which is another form of promo for the band.

Again the band’s logo and the header including links have followed us onto the photo page.

Video Page

The latest upload is the biggest.

The all videos section includes all the videos from the bands official YouTube page.

Releases Page

They have a list of everything they have ever released, which is ideal for newer fans.

Two Door have put there latest releases at the top which is ideal for fans coming to find the latest content.

About Me Page

All the ‘About Me’ page contains is a picture of the band and a piece of text which reads ‘coming soon’ – this is giving the fans something to look forward to.
