PRESENTATION OF BIBLES 3RD GRADERS SIGN UPAs is our practice here at Trinity our 3rd graders will be presented with a Bible in early October The practice of passing along stories of our faith from one generation to another is one that we celebrate Our hope is that children will bring their Bibles to class to learn how to use them and to find the stories they are studying Our hope too is that parents will keep the Bible available so that the family can read from it regularly before family time bedtime or other occasions

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America held a contest inviting hymnwriters to submit a new hymn for ldquoGodrsquos Work Our Handsrdquo Sunday September 13 2019 Wayne Wold wrote the winning hymn developing the denominationrsquos tagline with other parts of the person God uses listing concrete ways of manifesting Godrsquos presence for the world confessing Godrsquos activity beyond the churchrsquos work and inviting blessing on the churchrsquos work on behalf of the gospel
