EVENTS & HAPPENINGS SMC (Sunday Morning Class) – Sundays, 11:30am – Opal Room. “The Sermon on the Mount” - 10/11 thru 11/15 - Jeff Manildi will lead this 6-week class from Matthew 5, 6 & 7. Home Group – Mondays, 6:30pm – Oct 26 thru Dec 14 – The home group is open to everyone and the atmosphere is relaxed and conversational. The topics for the season (10/26-12/14) will look at biblical texts that have caused damage because of a literal approach. TRINITY CHURCH CONFERENCE – Nov 8, 11:30am – Fellowship Hall – A brief Church Conference will be held in our Fellowship Hall following worship. The agenda will include receipt of the 2016 Church Budget, including Pastor’s Compensation, and a review of our membership report. Please plan to get some refreshments, then join the discussion. We anticipate that the Church Conference will last no longer than 30 minutes. Turri Road Clean-up – Nov 14, 10:00am – S. Bay Blvd & Turri Road - Please join us in protecting and caring for our estuary, and preserving the natural beauty of our area. We are usually done in about an hour. United Methodist Student Sunday – November 15 – United Methodist Student Day turns lives around. Our gifts provide scholarship funds for United Methodist college, university and graduate students who show promise, eagerness to learn and leadership qualities that may change the world. Noach Tangeras: A Voice for Climate – Nov 15, 3:00pm – St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church – Singer songwriter Noach Tangeras brings her Americana style band with roots in folk, country, blues and rock to address the issue of climate change. This concert is sponsored by People of Faith for Justice. Please contact Mike Eggleston for ticket information.
