About TransLock2

The TransLock2 interlocking intermodal material transport system is a unique, patent-pending core technology developed by Double Crown Resources to complement our mineral processing and supply business.

The TransLock² is designed to transport large capacity loads of aggregate commodities such as fracturing “frac” sand, barite, guar slurry, or agricultural products in a highly efficient, economical and environmentally friendly way.

TransLock2 includes multiple delivery systems (Gravity, Pneumatic, Venturi) that bolt onto the tri-chamber interlock design. TransLock2 is the first system offered to the market that can load and unload while remaining on rail cars without having to remove the containers. Our dual interlock system allows containers to feed into one another during loading and unloading. Conceptually, each container can handle up to 3 different materials; such as, 20/40, 30/50, or 40/70 mesh product.

Key Logistical Advantages - TransLock2

• Our containers have the ability to convert standard intermodal flat rail cars and flat bed trucks into covered cars and trailers because of our patent pending vertical and horizontal interlock system.

• Our containers are able to convey 100 tons of material directly from the rail car to silos, hoppers and conveyors when and where needed.

• Furthermore, our system compliments and reduces the need for multiple transloads. Unlike other systems, our chambers are not pressurized. The pneumatics meet the material at the point of contact with the Venturi creating a wind tunnel effect and suction that draws the material out of the container.

• Many kinds of sand and aggregates hold moisture beyond their original spec. This can easily cause a backup and/or clog, therefore a traditional pneumatic pressurized vessel is going to have a break or blow point, usually the weakest point in the system. TransLock2 will merely need to be unclogged to continue conveying the material without damage or danger to the system and/or operators.

Key Safety Advantages

• The operator will never be required to climb on top of or in between the units as is required with other systems.

• All operation is designed to be accessed by the multi-ladder system and all levers are accessible from the perimeter via the ladders including the patented horizontal lid slide system.

• All ladder systems have multiple safety harness latches attached to the ladder system.

Key Advantages at Well Site - TransLock2

• Units can be used as portable silos and storage containers.

• Units are stackable up to four high and interconnect to one another allowing for one connection in the transfer of contents.

• Units are not only portable storage containers, but contain multiple delivery systems; i.e., manual/gravity feed, Venturi vacuum, and pneumatic blower.

Key Operational Advantages - TransLock2

• Gravity/manual feed, Venturi and pneumatic discharge capability during loading & unloading.

• Three chambers segregate the contents of each container for the transport of three different products (frac sand, barite, ceramic proppant).

• Easy access and operation from the perimeter and multi ladder system. All horizontal lid slides, slide gates, side vents, and interlocks can be operated safely from the perimeter/multi ladder system.

Background - TransLock2

Developed to address the serious inability to meet the logistic demands that are currently experienced by multiple industries. This is due to the high demand and lack of sufficient covered rail cars and trucks.

TransLock² was also developed to address the most efficient method of transportation for aggregate commodities from origin to site reducing the number of handlings and demurrage charges of the railroad and trucking industries.

TransLock² is also designed to match the existing global universally accepted container size, dimensions, weight restrictions, pickup points, delivery systems, and conveyance methods.

TransLock² was designed to omit and/or reduce the need for super sacks, a method of transport with a high percentage of material breach and/or loss due to the multiple handlings and the inefficient method of transport that is soon to be obsolete.

Page 16: Translock2 power point - may 9 2015

What makes TransLock² unique is that it is designed to maximize the macro logistics methods of transport, enhancing the intermodal logistics model by connecting the containers during the loading and/or off loading. Once the containers reach their point of destination, the vertical interlock allows the material in the two upper containers to gravity feed into the lower containers. As the lower container lateral slide patented system has been opened and the interlock has been engaged and the vertical connections have been made, the horizontal interlock between the two lower containers can be connected at the access points on the Venturi/pneumatic conveyance system thus one connection can be made and the total cargo can be transferred into hoppers and/or silos and/or mixers and/or conveyors. A standard railcar can transport a maximum of 100 tons of aggregate material. By connecting the four containers we are able to duplicate the quantity of material to be transferred at close to or as close to the current transfer rate. Unlike a covered car, these containers can be off loaded and used as silos and/or storage to be transferred at a time of choice. Unlike a covered car, these containers can be utilized for a multitude of products. Unlike a traditional container, these units can carry aggregates, ultimately chemicals, fluids, and all types of products. Some containers will be industry specific and will have industry specific hoses, valves, attachments, liners, etc., and conveyance delivery systems. However, the goal is to use a standardized system for the majority of products – a system that is universal and universally superior to the existing model - a global, universal macro logistics enhancement.
