TRAFFIC JAM IN BANGLADESH,THE PROBLEM THAT WE MUST SOLVE

Reasons behind traffic jam

(a) City lay-out (master plan) and over-population:

(c) Heterogeneous vehicles and inadequate public transport:

Instead of big and spacious buses, presence of large number of mini-buses and private vehicles can only contribute to carry few passengers

(d) Rail crossing:

movement of 74 trains to and from Dhaka

it takes five minutes to get the clearance for each crossing. Thus in one crossing, everyday the vehicles stop for six hours that is really difficult to offset.

The problems that must be solve:

(a)Fly over can be introduced to lessening the traffic jam

(b)Under ground railway system

(c)Under pass road crossing system

(d)Train up the traffic police

It is very important to train up our traffic police for lessening the traffic jam

(e)Every school and college must ensure their student and stuff bus

(f)The road should not be blocked for a long time for the ministers and high officials

(g)others:

We all have to be very much attentive to the traffic signals

No private car will be used by students for going to school, colleges and universities

Public awareness has to be telecasted through mass media

Rail way communication has to be developed for minimizing the transportation load

Old and out of date busses should be replaced

Rickshaw pullers must be properly guided to drive well so that jam does not occur
