Oil Line Suction Pump A must for any oil engineer. This kit allows air locks to be removed and oil to be drawn through to the appliance. Ideal for use on new or old heating systems which are not self-priming. Especially useful during modifications or commissioning. Pumps on the ‘push’ & the ‘pull’ stroke to prime the system with oil more easily & quickly. Unit has a suction hose for connecting to de-aerators. Braided hose ¼” F BSP x ¼” F BSP. Oil Smoke Test Pump The best indicator of incomplete combustion for oil burners is smoke, as heavy smoking will usually occur before high concentrations of carbon monoxide (CO) are present. Smoke Tester is an easy to handle, lightweight and reliable instrument. Using the Orsat principle, smoke tester forces a gas sample to cross the filter paper and leave a soot spot, which is then compared with smoke scale to determine smoke number. High smoke number is an obvious symptom of incomplete combustion and may have various reasons, as well as serious consequences (air pollution, soot disposition on heat exchange surfaces, fuel waste, etc.). The smoke tester is supplied with a Ringlemann soot scale chart, a packet of 40 strips of filter paper & a bottle of lube oil.

Multifunction Steel Storage CaseMade exclusively for Heat Group Supplies, this steel storage case was designed to securely store up to 80 oil nozzles. However, during the design process we decided that we wanted to allow you more flexibility so there are two layers of foam included, made up of three pieces (as per images). This configuration allows for them to;

• Hold up to 80 oil nozzles only (using all three foam inserts)

• Hold up to 40 oil nozzles and space for photocells, solenoid coils, filters, even fuel pumps etc (using the un-cut insert and one nozzle insert) or

• Hold no nozzles at all and have a foam protective pad at the bottom (ideal for the likes of a gas sniffa etc) or

• Hold hundreds of screws, fixings etc, etc. without any of the foam inserts in place.

Grant Vortex Eco Range Utility ModelsVortex Eco Utility models feature the latest version of the Grant Vortex stainless steel heat exchanger and baffle system and come in outputs ranging from 15–35kW. The boilers also have a simplified casing, control panel and pipework arrangement, making them the ideal choice for utility room installations. The condensate trap comes factory fitted within the case, but can also be positioned externally if preferred. The boilers are designed to allow the burner and combustion chambers to be serviced from the front. Boilers that are fitted with a sealed system kit will also need service access from the top. All boilers are compatible with Grant’s EZ-Fit flue options and can be flued from the top, rear, left or right hand sides of the boiler.
