PAULINE FRAN9AIS alias MADAME V I N E , is charged, on warrant, with absconding from her creditors, at Melbourne, on or about the 7th inst. Description .- better known as Madame Vine, French, about 40 years of age, Sft. 9in. high, stout build, fair complexion, very fair hair, dressed in black. She has taken about .£400 with her belonging to her creditors. The warrant charges her with quitting Victoria with ^£20 worth of property after the sequestration of her estate. She is supposed to be accompanied by Fritz Jansen, a draughtsman. 0 . 7024. 13th August, 1889.

PAULINE FRAN9AIS alias MADAME VINE, is charged, on warrant, with absconding from her creditors, at Melbourne, on or about the 7th inst. Description: better known as Madame Vine, French, about 40 years of age, 5ft. 9in. high, stout build, fair complexion, very fair hair, dressed in black. She has taken about £400 with her belonging to her creditors. The warrant charges her with quitting Victoria with £20 worth of property after the sequestration of her estate. She is supposed to be accompanied by Fritz Jansen, a draughtsman. O. 7024. 13th August, 1889.

Inquests.

East Kimberley.—On the 14th J u n e last, at Ha l l ' s Creek, before E . P . Dowley, J . P . , and Act ing Cor­oner, on the remains of a man found on the banks of the Elvire River, on the l l t h June . Verdic t—" T h a t the remains, which were found burnt , were those of Louis, a Manil laman, and tha t death was caused by fracture of the skull, bu t no evidence to show how caused, and t ha t the body was wilfully b u r n t by some person or persons unknown."

Verdict-" That the remains, which were found hurnt, were those of Louis, a Manillama.n, and that death was caused by fracture of the sk ull, but no evidence to show how caused, and that the body was wilfully burnt by some person or persons unknown."

Dated D?ngara, 7th Sep­tember, 1889. ThIs man stated III a letter to his son on the 4th inst. his intpntion of poisoning him­self. H e was seen on the 6th inst. on the overland road between Dongara and Carnamah with a lliouse­colored mare with 2 white hind feet, new saddle and bridle, hell and hobble, and a bundle. It is sup­posed tbat be intends to leave the colony.
