It is also a perfect way to honor or memorialize a friend or family member. All sponsors between Bronze and Platinum will have their name on a plaque according to their sponsorship level and placed in the Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame. All “Supporter” sponsors will be place in a book that will be on display in the Hall of Fame. This one-time-only deal will end on November 30, 2020. WHAT IS THE OHIO WHITETAIL HALL OF FAME? Over the years, we have collected numerous whitetails and stories from all over the state of Ohio. The Hall of Fame will be open to the public, where people can see all of these magnificent whitetail deer and learn about their stories. Currently, we have around 100 free-range whitetails in our collection. Thanks to our many great supporters and the completion of the new Education Complex, the Hall of Fame will utilize our past Education Center. This collection includes many famous whitetails, including: “Hole in the Horn,” “Beatty Buck,” “Jerman Buck,” “Coffman Buck,” and numerous other Ohio giants. From the staff of Deerassic Park, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our supporters over the past 24 years. It is exciting looking back on how much we have grown, especially in the past few years. We are now in the final stages of completing the new Education Complex and Welcome Center to open to the public. We are expecting to open the Welcome Center in the spring of 2021. We also would love to convert our past Education Center into the Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame. Every year we receive multiple requests for additional giveaways to be held throughout the year. We feel that this is the perfect time to try out a new giveaway. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the Deerassic Park Education Center took a more significant than expected loss and had to cut the renovation budget for the Whitetail Hall of Fame. The Winter Giveaway aims to provide funding to complete the final stages of the Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame and open it to the public in the spring of 2021. The Deerassic Park’s Winter Giveaway will be held virtually on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 6 pm. It will be live-streamed on deerassic.com and on our Facebook page. Tickets will go on sale beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2020, and end Sunday, November 29, 2020.
