NEW YOBK (EB)—Too beautiful and fragile to use? Not onyour life! Even before selecting your china and glassware, youpromised yourself to be a new type of dinnerware owner—aneveryday user. No packing it 0-away into the recesses of a cabi- 'net ot EtaektaK it high on the topkitchen shelf for you.
More and more of today'sfcomemakera are following yourfootsteps. Gone are the Jays ofusing the best dinnerware only onvery special occasions, ntch asThnnkigiving «"d Christmas,
Most women approach theproblem of pattern selections inthe same way—with careful con-sideration and lota of thought.Your china and crystal shouldreflect your style of living, yourtastes—whether they're very for-mal or more homey and casual. In making this decision, home-makers am wise to keep in mindthat whatever the choice^ theirmac whatever m« CQUICHI HWUtableware should be used withpleasure . for a lifetime. Withproper care, fine china and crystalwill have a long life so it's im-jxnt&nt to select patterns withpersonal, and therefore timeless, appeal.
But the decision to use yourvery best every day, calls formore kitchen organization—es-pecially in storing. l ike mostnomemakere, you find that yourkitchen doesn't have an over-abundance of cabinet and cup-board apace. And yet, stackingdishes and crowding glasses maylead to chipping and breaking—just what you're trying to avoid!
How to make the beat UKB ofavailable space and yet takeproper care of your dishes—that s
the problem. At least it is untilyou discover the Kp&ce-a&vinzstorage ideas from Rubbermaid, especially the dinnerware rack. Itholds enough dishware for a serv-ice-for-eight, and has separateplaces tor dinner, bread-and-but-ter and dessert plates an well ansaucers. And there's room fnrcups, too. They are suspended ona slide-out rack beneath the din-ner plates. Made of sturdy impactfityrene, the rack offers protectionfor your finest dinnerware andconvenience for you.
Your storage problems aresolved, but how about washingand drying the dishes? For pro-tection, wafth them in a plasticdishpnn or use a sink liner mat.Hin.se the dishes in very hot waterand let them "drip-dry" in a dishdrainer. Select one that (Ha in atwin sink bowl, or team the drainerwith a drainer tiay and place themon the counter next to the sink.
If you're lucky enough to havea dishwasher, don't hesitate touse it for your very best wares. But, be sure to investigate thetypo of glaze on your china. Most fine china available todayifs finished with a protective over-glaze which makes it suitable formachine dishwashing.
Enjoy your china and glass-'ware daily nt mealtime with yourfamily. And enjoy, too, the worry-free feeling of raring for andstoring your china and crystal inthe Eafest possible way.
